Considering that so much of what we do (on the lower end of the employment spectrum) is being outsourced, it leaves mainly higher end jobs, which of course, require higher education. Add to that the fact that many other jobs are being replaced by automated systems, and it's left us with an "employer's market" where there are far more applicants than jobs available. Highly competitive habitat, only the best will succeed.
