Blade Master thus far definitely feels weaker than it did in CBT2, but it by no means feels like a broken class. Some of the changes I agree with, some I disagree with. For example I do think summon swords needed a cooldown, however 30 seconds seems like a bit much. I feel 15 would be more appropriate considering the skills reduced dps.
One change I have a major problem with is the nerfed parry talents. Before you could reduce the cooldown of parry and increase its duration. Now you have to choose. If that's not bad enough, both talents have negative effects. If you increase the duration, you increase the cooldown. If you decrease the cooldown, you decrease the duration. Getting either talent now actually makes parry weaker over all. I have opted to get 1/2 of the cooldown reduction talent simply because its base cooldown is too long. If you get knocked down, your parry isn't available again unless you have that 1/2 talent. You simply have to deal with decreased duration that comes hand in hand with this talent.
I'm currently level 30, so we'll see how the class feels after the next 15 levels. -
