Blade & Soul Dojo: Revast - Viewing Profile - Blade & Soul Dojo

Hey folks,

I'm looking for anyone that has a level 41+ Summoner, Destroyer and/or Force Master in CBT3. We're in need of some skill tree information for those three classes in order to properly build our upcoming Skill Tree Calculator. All we need to know is the number of points your allowed to spend in each skill.

If you have any of the classes listed above higher than level 40 please let us know! We just need some screenshots of each skill row.

Is PlayNC's launcher taking too long to download the client? Try downloading the game directly from their servers in the links provided below. The links below can be trusted as I downloaded and installed the game from them. However, continue at your own risk.

Simply download all the contents from the below mirrors, place them all into one folder and then run the "setup.exe" application. Keep in mind that all the files located in each of the "Data#.cab" folders need to be kept in their own folders. Keep them named "Data1" etc etc.

Use this thread to ask any and all question related to Blade & Soul's third closed beta test event! We created this thread for Blade & Soul CBT3 participants, to help the non-Korean-based players to get by a few gameplay aspects of Blade & Soul. However, if you have any questions or opinion requests for the participants please ask in this thread as well.

Having technical problems with the Blade & Soul CBT3 client? Please reply to this thread or create a new thread in this section with your questions/problems and the community will try their best to get it fixed. Since the Dojo staff is not affiliated with Team Bloodlust or NCsoft in any way it would be very difficult for us to solve some cases, so please keep that in mind. We would only be helping cases out that we have personally experienced and solved.

Want a question answered as soon as possible? Stop by our livestream pages, Revast's channel and Nayami's (Jinxis') channel, and ask in our chats while we are live. We will gladly answer any questions we catch. Keep in mind that we will probably talk to you via our stream rather then type in chat, so keep the volume turned up. We are live during the games server up-time (11pm-1pm EST).

What is the schedule for Blade & Soul's third closed beta?
The schedule is currently everyday until after May 22nd, from 12:00pm to 2:00am KST (South Korea).

What is the Dojo's "official" server?
Below is an image of the server the Dojo's staff is currently located.


Does the Dojo have a guild on that server?
Yes, we created a guild called "Dojo" on the server listed above. However, you need to be a part of the Lawful League (Blue) faction in order to join our guild. You get to choose your faction at around levels 20-25, once you enter the Grand Desert zone (second zone).

Please contact Revast, Nayami or Yuan for an invite to the guild.

Are there any translations for the new skill trees?
Yes, for a few. We have very rough drafts of the following classes. All missing classes will be coming soon! Be patient!'

Who from the Dojo is participating in CBT3?
I can tell you that the majority of the Dojo's staff, which include Revast, Nayami, Yuan and a few moderators are all taking part in Blade & Soul's third closed beta test event. We do not want to reveal the names of the other participants without their approval.

I'm stuck on a quest and can't read Korean! Can you help?
It would obviously be incredibly difficult for us to guide you through every question but we can list a few that have caused people the most problems. A short guide can be found in the reply below (click here).

How can I change the games play style profiles?
The game has two play style options. You can change between to two on the fly by simply hitting "F2". Below are the styles of each option.

Option One:

• Camera locked to follow mouse. Hold "Alt" to show mouse curser.
  
• Left mouse click to use primary ability.
  
• Right mouse click to use secondary ability.

Option Two:

• Camera is free and will not follow mouse, mouse curser always shown. Hold down right mouse key to follow mouse.
  
• Primary ability is now bound to "R".
  
• Secondary ability is now bound to "F".

How can I use the games emotes if I don't know Korean?
It's simple! Just hit "F12" and your action buttons will swap to emotes. Hit "1" or "2" to choose between two sets of four emotes. Use the "Tab" key to return to previous bars.

Can you translate the games stats for us?
Yep! Below is a picture of a character sheet and the translated stats.


How do you hide the UI?
You can hide your UI for screenshots and video capturing by hitting the Ctrl + X keys on your keyboard.

Where are the screenshots saved?
They are saved in a folder called "BnS" located in your "Pictures" for Windows 7 users.

Is the "Walk" Action available? If so, how do you commence the "Walk" Action?
Yes, you can walk in Blade & Soul. To walk simply hit the "/" key on your keyboards number pad, next to the "Num Lock" key.

Not sure what a Dropbox is? It's a neat device that acts like a simple folder, allowing you to fill it with contents and then share those contents with various friends and/or computers! It's free and allows you to increase your folders size by referring friends. Both you and the new refereed friend receive 500 additional MB when the account is created.

I usually don't approve of these shameless personal advertisement threads on the Dojo, so I apologize for posting one myself. I'm currently using this Dropbox to share CBT3 media with my fellow Dojo staff and I'm in need of more space!
