So i just stumbled across the first Lyn BM video i've seen so far. Tbh i'm quite impressed :o

Usually I prefer mages but i must admit that i really like this kind of BM since they are such a nice mix of magical and physical skills.
I really like the fact that they made Lyn Bms different from Jins too.
And their skills look so fancy :D

Soo i just wanted to share this one because i rly enjoed it n_n

It wont be, technically it is just Lyns version of Blade master considering they cant pick that as a class option. Different skills? yes. Treated as it's own class? kind of sort of but not really.

IMO, Lyn Swordmasters (See what I did there?) should be treated like a new class. They play completly different from Blademasters (Now you see it!). In fact, they remind more of a Destroyer then a BM. Sure, they have a few similar skills (Blade Draw Stance is pretty much the same) but most of the other skills are different from BMs.
Especially the most used skills like the Whirlwhind, RB (Fire/Thunder wave) and Force Choke are completly different from the BM.
I played BM to around lvl 25 and Lyn SM to max lvl and, at least for me, they never felt similar execpt for the Sword Draw stance and the fact that both use swords.

I just fear if we start calling it a new class then TBL gets away with it taking a class spot, which IMO it should not.

I gotta be honest. They dont give a damn wether we think or feel its a new class or not. If its a new class for them, thats how it is. If thats how their develepment plan looks like then it will stay like this.

Thank you for stating this as I was about too. Im getting really tired of people whining that they don't want it taking up a class spot. If team Bloodlust feels it is its own class then that is exactly what it is. Not only that, Aari, Steparu's, and many other streamers videos have shown that there are enough differences between the actual two to set them apart as their own individual role.

Can you be mad that Team Bloodlust calls it its own "class." Sure. But thats not going to change their stance on how they feel about it.

Seems like it. Then again, it's not uncommon for gamers to use something that meets their ends faster.

The Lyn almost died in the second video. So it isn't that OP.
