After playing it for a while I wouldnt say its OP.
can't agree with you there.

Yes the AOE dmg is great and I can just pull large amounts of mobs and kill them with ease (Crit Build + Health on Crit ftw). Destroyers can do the same and even easier btw. (Cant be stunned, knockdowned and so on while whirlwhinding, Lyn BM can be CC'ed, only blocks attacks in the first 0.5sec of the whirlwhind, maybe that changes once I can skill more points into it)
just because it is an AOE doesn't limit its uses to groups of mobs only. it can easily apply to single targets.

But lets consider what actually matters here,
yes, lets.

Endgame. And I would definitly say that the Class will not be OP in any manner there.
You are a Support DPS class, it is an addition to the Destroyer in PvE. Tanking might be possible but for sure more challenging then with the normal Blademaster. You also do not posses the Single Target Damage a true Blademaster has, at least not as far as I can tell right now.
people can categorize as much as they want...... it does not change the contents of the package NCSoft has given us --> decent DPS with good AOEs and good mobility. right now i see them with all the best advantages of blademasters and destroyers, without so much of teh weaknesses. can KFMs/blademasters hit hard? yes. can they hit moving/kiting targets with their hard hits? no. can destroyers hit moving targets easily? yes. what cripples assassins? Destroyer spin. can Lyn blades take destroyers well? well a destroyers' main enemy is tripping skills, lyn blades have 2 of those, so yea. do blademasters BURN through battle energy? yes. whats their fix? parry, which all melee classes can
capitalize (BIG TIME) on, and also requires the blade to stand still. Lyn blades just take a new approach by scrapping parry altogether, using a fighting style that does not depend on parry for energy. categorize as much as you need, in PVP i can easily imagine lyn blades dominating every melee class 1 vs 1, with range classes being their biggest weakness.

You can solo Bosses as a Lyn BM without a problem (not that it would be any hard at all with a true BM), the biggest plusoint is the fact that you have 2 Knockdown skills, so you can break through the CC imunity of Bosses and Force choke them afterwards, that is especially great to interrupt Bossattacks that you would otherwise not be able to block or avoid.
But overall, the class is definitly not OP!
PVE huh? mobs and bosses are not quite famous for being
intelligent and unpredictable. if i can read its attack patterns and know which of my skills can handle that i can take a boss in my own autopilot mode. PVP, human players are different.
