FFXI on the Playstation 2.

I was a FF fanatic so I wanted it bad...If I remember, the game itself sold for about $120.00 as you needed the HDD attachment to even play the game. Played it for four years, and it was by far the most fun I ever had in an MMO to date. Alot of people I miss from that game, but all things come to an end eventually and you move on. The music was amazing and I thought the community was just as good. ((As long as you did a good job in groups...Getting on the "Bad List" Was well, bad.)) Dying and getting a Level Down was and still is the most embarassing thing that could happen in a MMO ((My Opinion anyway.))

"The Realm", not quite a MUD but the UI was based on kings quest, i think. Side scrolling very large sprites and only 3 classes, wizard, warrior, adventurer. no trade windows either at the time, scammers were rampant. ahhh nostalgia.
