If you look at say, Tera, and see how the news flow goes for that one. You can see that since the announcement in early January this year of a final release date everything moved really quick. The year preceding that announcement news was very slow with gaps of several months between an official story.

So yeah that leaves me hopeful for a release in spring/summer next year. Seeing how fast things can go.

I'm hoping for a summer release but I can imagine them holding off if they want to use the holiday period to their advantage.

Guess we'll find out eventually but the sooner the better I say.

CoH's closure, while I don't think it affected NCSoft as much as CoH players think, was more bad press. And that second article has analysts baffled by the closing of a profitable game (myself, I think they want to move to keeping games that are popular in Korea, and if it's not popular there, not to have it).

They just laid off a group of employees, who were making a profit. That came out as bad press to a lot of people. Not just CoH players.

They're laying off more American employees. And to my knowledge some european employees have been laid off.

While the GW2 lay offs were likely the excess, like I said, soon after the other lay offs, will have people thinking they don't care. And the comments linked to those articles go along with that.

Possibly. However, never underestimate what bad press can do. The phrase "Any press is good press" is not always true. As someone who's been waiting for B&S since I first heard of it, I hope for B&S to be a HUGE success (in America, as I don't play on the KR servers).

Final Fantasy 13 i would assume but maybe that's just user related.

Something else would be that they hint at a FF7 remake (they ask the fans on twitter if they'd want a remake of FF7 and literally break twitter)

Released of Korean Version + 6 months = NA verison. This is going by the past history of games ncsoft has published.

The layoffs were probably as a result of the shares sell/new company change over and the teams working on the actual games are probably untouched (L2's were so I assume other games' did as well). CoH was probably shut down to make space for BnS or again, due to the restructuring of the company (as someone said, it was mostly a NA popular game).

The only thing that scares me is with the school tragedy blamed AGAIN on videogames, that NCSoft will rethink their "no censorship" stance
