They won't. You can just patch your game with the Korean sound files as many did with TERA.

I just hope they keep the combat voices the same, I don't want to hear some English try-hard screaming every time you initiate an attack (e.g. young female voice in Aion, EVERY FRICKING ATTACK!)

Where can we find the files for the Korean Sound Patch? I'm opting to swap the english for the Korean.

Sorry to switch the topic up here a bit, but I would like to know... Has there been any word on the US/EU pay model? I know KR has a P2P model, but I really hope we get a B2P model. Sadly, I uh....Can't afford P2P ._.

Nothing official, just dozens of threads on these forums about it. They use P2P in Korea with no game-purchase fee. i.e. once you verify your account, you spit out money for game time only and away you go. They also have a cash shop with cosmetic-type items if you're into that kind of thing.

We're hoping for the same thing over here, although having a digital download/purchase fee isn't completely out of the question either, it's a good game and there's no problem with having a base cost + sub. fee.

i really doubt that, especially if there isnt any publisher exclusive for a region, besides NA doesnt require imba requirements for register accounts, so no, i bet you would be able to play without problem.

Yeah. Honestly, it sounds like they did the best they could. Some of it sounds a little awkward here and there, but that's because of how fast the korean version was talking, so they had to squash the sentences in as best they could.

Dubbing isn't easy, guys, calm down.

I really don't know where this dub hating came from really, I think it's fine for the most part. Sure it's nice to have the game stick to it's Korean roots and there are a few moments where the mouths don't match the voice (I didn't count too many moments watching that dub if any) but sometimes I want to just watch the scene and not have to worry about reading the subs dammit .

I wouldn't call it dub hating at all, just a matter of 'seeing something in it's original light'
You have to think of it like this, most people have been following this game for how long~? 5 years or more~? And we've always seen it in the korean light, so when you hear something like a dub, for some that's just taking it out of the comfort zone of how you've always viewed the game, I don't really think it always stems from just hating dub~

Have to look at it like this, Mom's home-made biscuits are fine but Grandma's are just great~!

simply said people like to feel they're getting the 'original' is all~
change is hard, that's common knowledge x3
