Voice your opinion about NA/EU and other region servers. Let's start early and give NCSoft an idea of what type of servers we want in the West.

I want a pve server because I log in to have fun, quest, craft, earn money, and grow as a guild. I don't log in to be ganked the second I sign in. PVE servers can have arenas and even optional dobok pvp.

Teambloodlust won't have to change anything but the requirements for pvp. Remove them and make those rewards available through pve.

Let them know before it's too late!

I'm more of a PvE person, but I have a tendency to play on PvP servers. In terms of B&S, I'd probably lean more towards a PvE server, due to the 5 durability loss on weapons when you die. It's a rather big durability drop, and repairs can cost a lot over time if you constantly die. Not to mention it also drops when you fight in general.

How would a PvP server be set up with the factions? Would there be a purpose in the factions at that point?

PVE, RP and PVP.
This solves every problem imaginable and everyone is happy.

I personally play a lot in PVE servers due to most of my friends leaning towards them.
But I have alts in PVP servers in any MMOG that allows it.
RP servers can be fun, too. But I often end up avoiding them 'cause people get far too much into character for my tastes.

Ah, Sera, you could setup factions kind of like other games have.
Or remove it all together and just leave the outfits there for reputation purposes only. Kind of like how WOW is with tabards.
PVP'ers wouldn't really care if it's free for all PVP anyway.

for those playing pve only, you can just ignore the "faction dobok" and prevent pvp altogether...
no need for a separate server.
if you choose to participate in pvp, you just switch over to your "faction dobok" and its gametime.

Exactly.
Why would it be any different than this? I mean, there are factions for a reason, right? And there are faction doboks for a reason, right?
I think it's like that in the korean servers too, if I'm not mistaken. I don't really get why would they feel the need to change this, I mean, it's pretty fair in my opinion.

I'm currently on 파죽지세 server and i dabble (get ganked) in pvp a bit, and my wife choose not to dabble in it (high ping/gank etc).
works out for both of us.
not like aion (at least lower level) where you can get ganked (rift/abyss) while on a middle of a quest.
i mean hell, i wore the wrong dobok in town and got beat up by guard npcs....
no need for a separate server.
however, a timezone server (east/west/central/mountain) may be needed at launch?

I love doing PvE content but nothing is more fun when leveling to fight off other players wanting your mobs or just for the casual fight/PK'ing.

From PvE view it obviously does not make difference. But PvP have a bit different nature. Option for "PvP only when I want" have sense from PvE point of view only..

But good PvP need consequences. And I do not talk about idiotic death penalty, but possible revenge. PLayer A can gank player B, but in player B must have way to take revange. That is what make OWPvP exciting - You can hunt your target without barriers, but you can became target as well .

That why I want non-consensual PvP servers for EU/NA.

And question: whats a RP server? What can I expect from a Rp server?

An RP Server is referring to a "Role-Playing" Server. Quite similar to PvE. But more focused on raiding, gear specs, etc.
