When I keep clicking the red button on Desktop it takes me to NCSOFT black install launcher. Then from there when I hit Install it opens a white menu box, but the options say: Customize, Install, and Cancel??? I click Install but It gives me this NCSOFT Launcher Error??

System.InvalidOperationException: There is an error in XML document (22, 139).
System.Xml.XmlException: An error occurred while parsing EntityName. Line 22, position 139.

I don't really have a fire wall up or any thing that blocks the program form installing so pretty sure that isn't it at all.
The only options it gives me with the error box is either Ok or Exit??
Then again it tells me that The Server is offline and it cannot connect that they might be updating it or some thing???
or that its just plain unavailable and I have to try again later, but when I do I always get the same message......If I"m doing some thing wrong pls tell me ohh and I have all the files I need from a preinstall I had to wait hours to get....

It is so much quicker to download each file separately!

I had trouble twice with downloading through their download manager, speeds were slow and it kept freezing. Once on 40% and another time on 34%. Now I got all the files in under 2 hours whereas downloading the entire thing direct from them was estimating around 10-12 hours.

I'm waiting for my last file to finish downloading and then i'll be able to get the setup up and running. Fingers crossed.

I never had problems using their download manager.

DDL'ing is not a good idea since there's no safety net, any loss of data in the transfer and your part file/archive is corrupted.

Torrenting is better if the manager is giving trouble.

I don't have time for this... Ò_____Ó.

So I downloaded the client and all that but when I try to install it, I get error 1618 that said there is a second install happening and that i should finish the other install before trying to do this one but im not going another install?? anyone come across this problem? i changed my local as well..so i don't have any idea why i'm getting this odd 1618 error..can someone help?

no, i'm just playing the retail Korean version but i just can't get it to install properly and was wondering if anyone had the same problem i did.

There are no more betas in Korea, the game was launched a few months ago. You can actually play but you need an account, and if you want to create one they are going to ask you for your Korean social security number xD

I heard something of those Korean codes you need to make certain accounts, but how do people manage to play? If it's possible I'd like to try, I literally can't wait to spend hours and hours and hours in the character creation screen :D yay!

well...about that...during cbt 2...all the characters were pre-sets so there was no character customization options..so only thing you could do with this private server is pick from a set of pre-made characters. just google search, i do not know the actual site, name, or anything..i just hear stuff from other people who ask me if blah blah is the still the same or did they change it, what does this mean, what is this, etc.

Still have the CBT3 client installed? It's possible to update the clients files in just a few short steps.

Make a shortcut to your NCLauncher, right click the newly created shortcut, hit Properties and then edit the Target path with the below. Keep in mind that the original file path may vary depending on where it's installed on your computer. Once you've completed all that just run the shortcut and let it update!
