pretty much what seraphim said. what roles the blade master can fill in those different situations~

they sure live up to the name of being the most balanced class (which is OP in a sense)

Makes sense since in Eastern Fantasy Lore, the Blade is considered the Perfect weapon that has the most utility and is the most effective choice of weapon for Martial Arts.

Well, that's all good and dandy but my concern, like some others have mentioned, is where 60% of players become blademasters bcos "it's the most balanced class". You know how min/maxing can ruin a game for a lot of people *points to self*. Tbh for right now blademaster seems aweful versatile compared to other classes but let's wait and see, if BM dmg is not too high then all's well in B&S world i guess. I like how Sin's can be such a nuisance to fight but the dmg is not so high that you're dead while getting out maybe 0-2 hits on the Sin like in other MMOs, therefore, this gives me hope for BM balance.
