Hrmmm, interesting. Would love to see this get translated if indeed we could use it to figure out builds before it even launches.

Think they are busy finishing CBT 2 info.

Anyone else find it odd that they have gear (Bo Pae) acquired in such a manner before level cap? It seems like it should be very rare to get the pieces you are required to trade in boss currency for. I wonder if it's such a huge boost compared to gear you'd get from questing than farming bosses.

still show it to them this is wonderful information indeed, and it is rather odd but i guess for a next gen mmo like this they are trying to prepare you as much as possible

I'm not sure what you mean by having bo-pae aquired before level cap. In my experience (in the later levels) I got bo-pae pieces for higher levels that I couldn't use yet (for example I looted the bird boss's chest and got a few pieces of the 36 set). As far as I know, the party quests give you some items (I just never figured out what they were), and certain gems found can be used to exchange for something like weapons or bo-pae pieces. It would save a bit of time of having to run it multiple times. Use the items and exchange them for a piece if you didn't get your hands on the piece itself.

From that page I understood it as you doing Elite Dungeons to get Boss tokens/currency and you then trade those in for Weapons/Armor. In the MMOs I'm used to they only do this with the top gear for the (current) level cap, usually the tokens/currency is a rare drop so you have to farm them over and over again to get even a decent amount.

Not saying it's bad or anything, just saying I'm used to them being so rare that it wouldn't seem reasonable to try and acquire them (farming dungeons for gear) while you are trying to level up. I guess they might not be as rare as I previously believed they might have been.

Regardless, if people want them bad enough, they will grind for it no matter how long it takes. We will just have to wait and see. As well as wait a bit for some translation to be done.

Well, the 'token' is a decently rare drop. I think from bosses I've fought, only one has dropped most times, and various bo-pae pieces as well. You won't be able to get the whole set with just 1, so you will need to farm them. Its just an alternate way of obtaining the set in case the piece you want doesn't drop. Everyone needs bo-pae, and the game tends to throw a lot of different sets your way. That page listed two 32 sets(?), one 36, two 37s? It's not necessarily required to complete a set to be able to do things in game. I relied on quest bo-pae / random drop bo-pae most of the game.

I love how the bo-pae aren't very stat heavy. That big HP boost really only soaks up one good hit per bo-pae so I don't see that as much of a big deal.

Definitely liking where stat progression in this game is going. Good stuff, good stuff.

Will these tablets be placed in a unique inventory slot or character equipment slot?

Sure hope it doesn't clutter up the inventory by taking up individual slots in the inventory.

well up til 2nd CBT recently, the tablet pieces took up inventory slot~ which I found weird since the tablets had their own separate windows for where you can see what you have equipped....

the devs may or may not change that for the future....the interview doesn't hint at it....but who knows~ depending on the amount of feedback, they might.

They stated in an interview that this site posted that they did it to keep everything in one place (the inventory) so that when you ground down Bo-Pae that you didn't want, to infuse it with the ones that you had equipped, you didn't need to open up multiple windows and such to do it.
