Posting some PvP videos I found on a youtube channel that "namibns" on the stream chat linked.
I have pasted links instead of embeds, because it looked so very flooded with all those embeds, I couldn't find a function for minimizing the embeds, like with a nested/spoiler tag.

If you have some PvP vidoes, post 'em!

Christ almighty if Kung-Fu Masters get ahold of an Assassin in one of their combos they are finished. The assassin had one level on her and even still one combo took almost half their life.

EDIT: And that final video when the Destroyer piledrives the FM with his axe is awesome.

Lol another reason why Sins have the highest difficulty level for now. Might seem easy to play in PVE, but for PVP, you really have to know your stuff, or you're gonna' get roflstomped. Besides see lol, people were already saying sins were OP.

To be honest I felt bad. In one of those videos of the assassin against the destroyer the former gets their entire combo string off on the destroyer and takes off maybe 25% of their health. Destroyer proceeds to throw assassin with his axe and takes off 25% just from one move.

I can definitely see Assassins having difficulty in 1v1 if they dont get the first jump. But as they always say, there is power in numbers!

That last one was interesting. 3 on 1? Is this some kind of battleground?

I think the last one was a gank, and the FM's friends came to help but was too late... Too bad it cuts at the end I would've loved to see what happened next.

You wear the armor, you take the risks. This is true PvP. You could be ganged up on at anytime. Tread lightly.

Nah! I can never feel sorry for sins cos it's simply skill. U can tell the destroyer fighting the blademaster is a noob, he never seems to try and counter. If you can't play ur toon well u deserve to lose. Sins can disappear, set-traps while invisible, poison for DoT, web u down and get 4 hits in b4 u can get out, disappear again, disappear once more (counter), set a trap and relocate you into the trap by force, retreat x3...cmon, some ppl are just not well versed as the game is new. Do not base anything on what you see in these vids, just watch for fun, so for ppl asking which class is better than which class so they can try to roll the strong class...well ur SOL. Focus more on what toon fits your playstyle and get stuck in to that toon with 100% of your focus and you're good.

I've seen a destroyer takeout a forcemaster (almost 2 actually), and i've seen an FM take a destroyer 3 lvls above him so quickly it was like killing a mob. This applies to every class as well BM v Sin (vice versa), FM v Sin (vice versa)....on and on. Furthermore, if you look at the skill tree for this game you also realize that you can spec to be masterful at certain things while weak at others or you can attempt to be average in all things these choices all affect pvp gameplay and since we don't know the spec being used by those in the vids we're watching, assuming one class is better etc is a moot point.

You are correct. But that doesn't change the fact that what we saw in the video really happened. The assassin used its entire line of skills on the destroyer and did maybe 30% max damage tops. The destroyer proceeded to throw the assassin once and dealt almost the same amount of damage.

Don't get me wrong, in the end, the player with better skill will when for sure. I HAVE to comment on what I saw in the video though because that's WHAT HAPPENED. Maybe one of the players was just having a bad day. In the end though, what this shows us is that even if one of the players stinks or is off their A-game, a slight mistake could cost you 30% of your health. That's all.

Seems to me that Destroyer won every PvP encounters with the Assassin and Force Master.. Once he did the choke hold and the long throws, it's a hefty damage to them. Simultaeneously he did it everytime over and over again

I don't disagree at all with the fact the sin lost 30% of his life once the destroyer got a hold of him but remember, the game is balanced around the fact that the faster, stealthy sin can and should not be so easily captured by the slower, non-stealthy destroyer. What i have noticed is that sometimes players seem to to try and go toe-to-toe with whomever they fight. If a skilled sin of equal lvl uses his entire arsenal (offensive & defensive) tactically and efficiently i truly believe a destroyer of equal skill would have a great deal of difficulty winning the fight.

I say this bcos any class that can totally remove control from the opponent i.e go invisible a number of times while "in-combat" has the tactical advantage simply bcos I can see you and you can't see me. Therefore, i have time to 1. tactically plan, 2. take a breather and regroup, 3, attack 1st giving me the advantage, 4. keep my opponent skittish and guessing. Now on damage, it's only balanced that the destroyer does more dmg due to the few hits he'll get on a class like the sin who will get 3-6 times the number of hits on the destroyer, if the destroyers armor is the same as the sin's he'd be dead b4 the fight begins. Just remember, the sin has DoT(poison), he controls the fight (plants explosive and forces opponent into the bomb, can set a bomb while stealth), he has tactical advantage (stealth), he has offensive advantage (can hit from stealth) therefore he should not easily be grabbed without the destroyer working hit butt off. The major disadvantage of the sin then becomes armor/health to balance his variety of arsenal. We've not even seen what the class will be capable of doing at higher lvls, it even scary just thinking of what Team Bloodlust has planned ...saying those guys are creative is a massive understatement.

Not accurate. lvl 23 sin beat lvl 26 dest; then the dest won the next fight. On the Dest v FM that destroyer is skilled while the FM is not, it's quite obvious just from how and where the FM positions himself. He did not even use his stranglehold (which has priority over all dominations) to dmg and throw the dest back and that is another control class where the player focuses on dmg over control. The KFM who won most of the fights on the other hand is skilled and i'd like to see him and the skilled destroyer battle it out.

Meh...that KFM needs more cowbell..and someone said the destroyer won them all..but to my appeal owning a destroyer is as simple as being good...not being a pro..but slightly good at countering

ANd nice...there's a way to get out of the destroyers grapple @0:27

@above

I would say by the presence of such a tool-tip as was featured in the old talent tree thread that there are a number of 'anti-submission' type skills currently implemented. beyond that of a simple common anti-aerial ability; and here was the example I was thinking of (under the KFM expertises section of the page):

"Turn the Tides: When you escape from a Takedown, Chi Leech or Dominate, you will be able to use Turn the Tides which will allow you to Takedown an enemy."

I also noticed at some point where a BM was playing in another video, that it was able to curiously break down the guard of a destroyer quasi-boss mob that looked to be beyond its level of control; that is to say, it was manually detonated by the target. The last I knew of and about the class is that they were not in possession of any guard breaker like moves; having seen that prestige go towards the KFM previously. Unless... I am missing out on the possibility that the shield that's erected can reach a critical mass of sorts, hum, the sheer torrent-force cascade of questions continue to heckle me further.

As a side note, it's nice to see that a destroyer gets an aerial combo too as was seen in one or even a couple of those in that video selection.
