I received an email saying that from August 3rd at 4pm GMT until Monday, August 6th at 7am GMT The Secret World was free. Dunno if it was just for the ones that participated on the Beta, but anyway, anyone that wants to try should give it a try now!

They must really be hurting for subscribers. Who can blame them. The game is just ugh. I would pay for Maple story before I pay for Secret World and Maple Story is F2P

And the game is $29.99 as of now on Steam to.
Apperently this is not a "welp game failed time to move on" They are still going to be adding content and going forward with the game but I guess the MMO genre is really shifting to B2P

I play aswell. Its one of the best rpg's out there. Just play it as a solo rpg and youll really enjoy it. Great story, cool game. Mmo part is not that great.
