The 670 outperforms the one you got

Replied in other thead too

Also CPU wise check this little review out. It shows the difference between an overclocked CPU and just stock (i just looked at the stocked one)

http://www.bit-tech....0k-cpu-review/6

The difference between the 2 processors really was 1-2 fps difference

(removed link for easier viewing Posted Image) changed out the fan

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/mts2

changed the video card now lol

Oh ho ho! I'll do the same then! Really awesome that you found the 3.5. Video memory is a huge part of rendering mmorpgs....
Can't tell you how bad it is when a video card struggles rendering other players/backgrounds  It's sad to watch.

The i5 you found for me is 3.5Ghz
Pardon me if I'm confusing specs

Oh I see the problem, I said memory instead of speed, since 3.5Ghz refers to speed lol

The i5 should be 3.4 o.o if you're going to do my build which by the way i changed the power supply to a modular one so the case wont gbe so cluttered and ill post the video that i saw that made me switch lol http://pcpartpicker.com/p/mJT0

Here is why i chose what i did

Also post me a link to that 3.5 ghz i5 lol it wont matter anyway since its going to 4.4 ghz anyway xD

You're right it'ts 3.4  I always like to round things up
Power is the most important thing in a computer, overheating problems are a pain so thanks for the change on that.

man whenever i feel i have the final build i find an issue with just 1 part gah!!!

Changed the power supply due to reviews saying raidmax has issues with their power supplys catching fire or breaking in a few months so here is the new link with the new power supply.

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/mNzr

edit - i worry too much....and keep finding problems in peoples reviews :/

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/mOrG only problem i saw in the reviews on this one is the cables are too short but i don't know if that is people with mid towers or full towers or what. Posted Image

Posted Image problems problems and more problems with the PSUs i seem to be trying to get but i finally found one with little problems and is a very good company who makes their PSUs and is recomended by many. So here is the FINAL PSU im happy damn it....really....i mean it Posted Image

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/mOtx

This link is for you ghastly since i added in the Win 7 OS for you so you can get an idea of the price you'll be paying lol

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/mOu0

And here is an unboxing by the linus guy who seems to know what he's talking about.

http://www.youtube.c...h?v=Q2gYS4MkSNA

Amazing changes! Specially on the power supply thank you :joss_stick:
I just pick parts without reading reviews on them...I need to start doing that...

I haven't ordered any parts yet, I'm possibly going to buy all this on 1 credit card later in the year/early next year. My goal is to have it ready for the first NA/EU beta.

Y'know I was planning to just go for a gaming laptop when I could afford it---but I've been in serious need of a desktop computer. Maybe I'll consider checking this rig out too. : P

@SoulTaker: To be honest I'm very new at this whole computer building thing---but I've been interested in it for a very long time. >< So I can't really give a real opinion. (I'd love to actually learn all I can about it though.) Knowledge is worth more than gold, ne? n n

@Naresuan: Yeah apparently I'm gonna be eating at my aunt's e e;;; Not looking forward.

Im going to have dinner with my family on turkeyday. Also Kogane its harder than it looks lol and as it is right now i cant even tell if my own work is producing results due to me not having the processor bleh

i turn on the power and literally nothing happends. No fans spinning no nothing. So my only thought would be that it requires the cpu and the heatsink (my 8 pin cpu cord isnt plugged in)

Alright so i found a superclocked 2 gb GTX 680 card awesome!

Ah the video card, arguably the single most important piece :3

Judging from the links you posted, i take it money is no object? in that case definitely go for the OC one you found on newegg. it's got enough reviews to be trusted with it's rating at 5 eggs and it's tech specs are drool worthy.

Looks like good rigs from those links, though i would personally spring for higher watt power supplies (build a comp for my brother using a 600 watt or so PSU and a geforce 400 something, and the damn supply couldn't handle the load, i tend to gun for 800+ watt supplies all the time now just to make sure i never have to worry about it).

And that is a nice looking case.

EDIT: on closer inspection don't get the superclocked one, as it's actually slower than the FTW edition :misdoubt:

I just want the best i can lol and the gtx680 requires 550 watts so im 100 over and the 670 requires 500 watts but yes i do plan on max blade and soul with hopefully little tanking to fps hehe and if i cant get the 680 ill settle for the 670 ftw

Alrighty :P i am a bit confused right now how my heatsink will go on with thw thermal paste though due to the socket covering oddly but im sure it'll make more sense when i take the plastic cap off and actually install it

I also dont know if i should go for FTW or superclocked though and what is your personal opinion between 670 and 680 ftw and superclocked editions?
