Thanks for the insight,
I checked and it's 1333MHz ddr3 RAM. I can get up to 8gb with my mobo, so I feel like I might as well upgrade my RAM now, since there are a lot of sales going on.

I'm looking into to build a budget PC using one of the Trinity APUs along with the 6670 for dual graphics or possibly just the 7750. I'll probably also get a motherboard that can utilize at least 16gb of RAM. I don't know how much of an improvement that would be though. >.>

Lowest settings, below 30fps. Get something with an AMD APU if you must have a laptop.

I have been looking for a gaming laptop to play blade and soul for a while now and I found one which isnt too expensive and has a decent graphics card. I only want to know if it's possible to play Blade and soul on this on high/max settings. I know a desktop PC is better for gaming but I can't get a PC because I also need the laptop for school stuff and I can't take my PC to school..

[Specs]

15.6 inch FULL HD LED - (mat) / NON-Glare, (res. 1920x1080), 95% color Gamut optioneel
Intel® HD Graphics 4000 (2nd videocard)
NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX670M 1.5Gb GDDR5, PhysX™ + CUDA™ + Optimus
Intel® Core™ i7-3630QM Processor (Quad Core, 6MB Cache, 2.4 GHz, Turbo Mode 3.3GHz)
4Gb BTO Selected High Speed DDR3-1600MHz (slot 1)
4Gb BTO Selected High Speed DDR3-1600MHz (slot 2)
4GB SSD Cache + 500GB HDD 7200 rpm.

If you want the site where I found this: here

The price is about €1100,- Which is if you don't change any components. (you can costumize it further on the web-page)

If this isnt enough could somebody please link me to a better laptop with about the same price as this one?

It's more than enough.

You can get a better performing desktop for €800 and spend another €300~€400 on a lightweight laptop with great battery life that will be able to everything school related, unless you're going to be working with 3d modeling. Keep in mind that that laptop is going to be heavy and if you intend to play games on the move the battery will be dead in under 2hrs.

It'll be playable on max but I think you'll enjoy it more on high.

Judging from the benchmarks i looked up i don't think you'd be able to play at max settings i believe at 30-40 fps. Everything else seems fine and windows 8 has alot of driver issues apparently

well i just saw that the 5770 on highest settings nets you 30-50 so it seems the 7770 should be fine.

Planning on building this sometime next month, and I really want to play this game on high at least with 40-60fps. Give me some input please!

CPU: Intel Core i3-3220 3.3GHz Dual-Core Processor
RAM: 8GB
VGA: XFX Radeon HD 7850 1GB Video Card
And I'm going to be running it on Windows 8 and on a 1920 x 1080 monitor if that matters.
I am considering going up to an i5 but I wanted to make sure if the i3 will bottleneck my GPU playing this game on high settings.
EDIT: I will not be able to overclock with the mobo i'm using in this build. Since I'm on a tight $600-700 budget I can't really upgrade too many parts. Maybe in the future.

Well you wont run out of RAM 4gb are enough for any game really.. 8 is fine for being safe if you multitask like mad but 16? that's way too much :) you could save the money and get something like a SSD or micro SSD to take off some stress on the main SSD :teehee: or something like that

You mean "WON'T bottleneck" xD

and it should not really :/ problem is the CPU is a dual core but a damn good one so im not sure how the game will respond to that..
But once you upgrade to an i5 quad you should be safe and rocking.

On the sidenote: you could save some money on RAM but thats just my opinion

It takes a 690 or 7990 to bottleneck an i3 in 99% of games, BnS included.
That system will easily run the game on high but consider saving $80 more for a 7870.

You'll be able to play on max without dropping below 40fps.

Get a 7950 if you want more performance, get a 7870 GHz Edition if you want the same performance for a lower price.

How will I play with these:

Desktop:

CPU= amd Phenom II X6 1045T 2.7GHz
Ram = 8gb
OS = Windows 7 32-bit
GPU:radeon XFX 7870 2gb GHz Edition

My resolution that I will play is 1280 x 1024

Do you think its worth upgrading to a 6990, 7950 or 7970?
I am hoping to play max but I am not sure since i saw the benchmark chart that BnS tested with other cpu and gpu.
