Well my question is: After CBT, would you say the gameplay gets repetitive? Because at low level you still don't have as many different combos, and so you always attack the same way, as also seen in most of the videos

In what ways is attack speed modified like weapons? skills? ect.

In what ways is run speed modified in pvp? Some classes are faster than others?

Any signs of gathering or crafting?

Does armor have stats or any effects on you?

Anything interesting being sold at the vendors?

Explain the Bo-Pae system

Is avoiding mobs easy? This is a big gripe that I have with almost all mmos.

Hello, my question is if you did alot of party play and if so what were your thoughts on it? From a stream I watched but of course couldn't understand the commentary it looked like honestly the switching of class dynamics away from Tank/DPS/Support made it so that everyone had the same role of just hit hit hit walk away and eat. It also made it seem like the force master would be unwanted against bigger bosses as the force master was the only class that was not taking a turn tanking nor was the DPS higher then the other party members (this could be because of a difference in levels i dont know)

Sorry if it is a weird question but I watched and was amazed by nearly everything in the game except for the party mechanics. As strange as it sounds it reminded me of a 3D beat'em up like Final Fight. You could pick Cody, Haggar or Guy and they had their own playstyles but in the end it was just slight differences to achieving the same goal as opposed to filling a certain role or need. While this obviously works for a beat'em up game and looked like it worked very well for One on One Duals and Solo mobs it was the one part I saw and felt extremely underwhelmed by when it came to grouping but I would like to know how someone who was a player and not a spectator felt.

I also know it was only a CBT so not everything was implented plus with the short time span there wasn't alot of time to think up and try out group tactics but I am still a little worried that they might have put so much emphasis on classes being different from DPS/Tank/Support that they might have just plain dumbed down the grouping mechanic and this is my favorite part of an MMORPG so like I said I am worried.

pc specs, overall in game settings they used (low, med., max), their fps in battle/walking around/large groups

In some of the screenshots that were posted, we saw a single character with way more than 3 outfits. Exactly how many outfits will we be able to interchange?

I never got bored, honestly. The combat is so revolutionary, it's unlike anything I've ever played in an MMO. The fact that you can potentially negate all damage from an NPC with active parries, blocks and just simply moving out of the way of an attack in this game keeps things fresh.

There aren't any auto attacks in this game for attack speed stats to altar. All sword swings, punches and devastating axe blows are active abilities. I'm not exactly sure if there is a stat in the game that reduces ability cooldowns, I'd have to ask Yuan or Elimer. Some combat in videos may seem slower than others because of lag. We were lagging a bit because of the large region difference.

Every class and race has the same run speeds as far as I could tell. Some race and class combinations may have just seemed slower or faster than others because of their models different sizes.

Crafting? I'd have to ask Yuan or Elimer for further analysis on this as we couldn't read Korean.

The helmet, eye wear and body armor slots are purely cosmetic. You get your stats from Bo-Pae (pie like chart in the middle of your characters profile), weapons and from accessories (rings, necklaces and earrings).

Again, we would have to ask Yuan or Elimer on this one as we don't speak Korean. There could have been something shiny on the vendors that we completely missed. As far as we know they just sold consumables and repaired our gear.

I'm not going to get into great detail here on the Bo-Pae system, we will have an article on this up shortly. Bo-Pae is the pie like structure you see in your characters profile, It consists of 8 interchangeable slots. Think of it as gear slots. Each piece belongs in a set, collect and equip all the pieces in a set to gain additional stat bonuses and a cosmetic glow effect on your characters model.

They just reappear after a certain amount of time. Some mobs have neat entrances, coming out of the ground and such. I'd say they would respawn after roughly a minute, time may vary.

This CBT event had limited content so we weren't able to explore the entire world. The content they provided was very satisfying, the zones were well sized. The world was linear, the quests storyline brought you to each new area accordingly. However, you could explore all the zones openly, you weren't restrained. There were neat moments where you would get sent back to previous zones that you had completed earlier, finding them altered in some way and containing new quests.

I noticed mobs didn't feel your presence if you were sneaking about behind them, you could use that to your advantage. Mobs didn't really agroo from about 5 to 10 paces away. I can't really get technical here. =)

We didn't get to experience PvP in Blade & Soul first CBT event as we only reached level 14 at the highest. Yuan and Elimer were significantly higher than us so they may have experienced PvP.

We only reached level 14 in Blade & Soul's first CBT event and had received about 4-5 outfits from quests. I believe you can have an unlimited amount of outfits and they're open to all races and classes! Gotta catch 'em all!

It would be great to know the minimum hardware setup for tolerable max setting performance. But I guess you didn't test the thing on lower end PCs.
I know about the minimum and recommended requirements, but they usually aren't as reliable.

Which is one of my top favorite games of all time. If B&S is anywhere near that, it's on it's way to the top.
