Update: Video of the entire character creation process has been added to the thread.

Let us go through Blade & Soul's first CBT character creation, shall we?

The first part of Blade & Soul's character creation process is picking your characters race, class and gender. As most of you already know Blade & Soul will have class restrictions, meaning certain races can only be certain classes. You'll find the class restriction information below with the screenshots. Once you pick your race, class and gender its off to part two, your characters features and name. Team Bloodlust decided to go with 16 preset models for each race/gender. Once you've named your character and are happy with what he or she looks like its time to enter the game and finally start playing!

Whether or not presets will follow through to the official release is currently unknown. They may have full customization under their sleeves for live. As for class restrictions, you may have noticed that Blade Masters have been removed from the Lyns and Force Masters from the Gons. There may be a chance that these classes will return to the these race come live. I believe they are holding or held a poll on the official Korean site in regards to race/class restrictions, we'll see the results soon.

They decided to remove the Blade Master from the Lyns and the Force Master from the Gons for this testing phase. However, there is a chance that these classes will return to the these races come live. And i know were have all seen that first jin female model with light hair color rather then dark.

Amazing compilation of the available presets. Gives a great idea for how much customization there is in the character creation phase. I can already see which one I we use as my base for Ghastly.

If they completely remove the race restriction then we will have Lyn Destroyers which would not really be or look that good

Great organization of all the images! The presentation is very nice.

My only gripes are that some of the body proportions are... weird. It's the art style I suppose.
And, the presets. Hopefully they choose to let us choose between presets or full customization. Better than nothing though. =)

ZOMG I can't believe it XD
CBT STARTED ALREADY <3 (yes i know i'm uber late)
but this is so awesome!!!
and the character creation! I know they don't wanna go further detailed with it because it's cbt and they might alter lots of things.
but everything looks so awesome already. i can see all the variety of styles and looks. it has more variety than most games today.
and not just that, but it actually looks good, attractive, and cute.
that's something most games have a difficulty with when going for varied characters.

this is just so amazing!!

Sadface at no more Gon + Force Master. They better bring them back because I want my magical thighs.
