If I was a mouse I would get into a house where the owners have a dog, so there would be dog food and everytime I would go eat the dog food the humans wouldn't notice because they would think the dog is eating it. Then I would find a woman mouse and mate with her and create mouse children, eventually an army of my own seed to take over the house.
