You better find a group of people in your own level range, though. If playing tank or healer, it can be brutal to level. As DPS you'll be fine with the easy quests, but the BAM quests can be brutal/time consuming to solo.

Well I haven't really decided I am just kinda playing the prologe a couple times with different classes to see what I seem to fit best. So far the mystic and berserker seem to be idel for me since I didn't have much problems unlike the warrior where i died like 3 times.
Oh and are all the servers in US? Because I get lag at times and it really messes me up sometimes.
Oh and how is the PvP? Last i heard ranged outclassed melee alot. I am a competitive so I naturally run towards PvP when I feel ready

PVP is terrible in TERA, because there is only 1 battleground and no objectives outdoor to encourage people to PVP.
But if you want to know the better PVP classes...
Priest, Warrior, Slayer, Archer, Lancer. (These are the top dogs, not in any order; they're all incredibly strong).
Sorcerer is very, very powerful but very squishy if cornered.
Berserker is decent too, but at Lv 60 when they get more control/abilities.
Mystic does OK too, but they get slaughtered really fast compared to Priest.
You want to play in US servers. EU servers are under the worst company/publisher ever.
Trust us on that one.
But if you want to know the better PVP classes...

Oh I am a US player but it dosen't tell me what server area I am playing on so I can't tell if it's me laging or the server or because I am play across the sea.

All servers are in Michigan as far as I recall but everyone gets high MS/latency for some reason.
So it doesn't matter how close you are to the server :x
I get like 100-150 MS, which is... bleh.

Think of going with the berserker. Starting to really level. Feels really satisfying killing a group with barly taking a scratch from block and all that AoE cleaves

My main was a zerker and they're really powerful for PVE DPS (Probably one of the best if you know what you're doing).
But they can be sluggish compared to other melee classes.

Zerker is a fairly easy dps class. Although it can get boring using the same 3 skills over and over and over and over. lol
They are easy to lvl too.

priest are 3 skill attacks too and its boring to solo quest if alone

I am on Celestial Hills but I have a few characters on Mount Tyrannas as well. Mostly low level to around 30-40.
I could play with you later, tho I think most of everyone here is on Tempest Reach.

Zerker actually takes to most keyboard and mouse skill to be successful in the game. I have a level 60 Berserker and we are by far the slowest attack class in the game. PvE is fairly easy yes but as far as PvP is concerned, you better be top of your game if you're rolling a Zerker.

pvp is easier in groups imo. now they added knockdown on alot of attakcs
