Yes, however if people want to be social then let them. If they would rather play through the game without the need then why is that bad? The guild we're in is a pretty social place. Anytime I'm on I can just ask, "What are we doing tonight?" and inevitably it gets a dungeon run going or we go through an area to get 100% completion on it.

I agree with the amazing art in this game. They stated that they wanted it to be like a painting and they've achieved that for sure. It's actually made it hard for me to look at Blade and Soul videos because I've really enjoyed the slightly more realistic almost gritty feel of GW2.

Gratz on your laptop Garzel. I'm actually building a new desktop that should be done by the end of January. I'm pretty stoked about it. I haven't built a desktop in about 9 years. i7 3770K, ROG Maximus Formula Mobo and GTX 680 GPU all inside the CM Storm Stryker case. Should be pretty when I get it all done and it should run any MMO at max settings at 50 FPS.

That is more powerful then mine atm i7 3630 and a Geforce GTX 675. But this is also the mobile version because it is a laptop so it's not as powerful as it would be but it's still quite a beast.

Ya, I currently have a laptop as well and while it does fine at medium settings I decided it's time I just build a beastly desktop. My laptop only has the 555M so it's a bit dated now.

I was going to go with the GTX 690 but figured I can add another 680 to this set up in 6 months if I really feel the need for it and save $500 upfront. Funny that this all started because I won a Thermaltake Power Supply in my last League of Legends tournament. I've got everything but those final 3 expensive parts. Then I'll be adding a couple more fans and some lighting.

You wouldn't be as disappointed if you didn't have unrealistic expectations out of MMO.
Don't get me wrong, GW2 has some issues, some serious ones as well. But you seem to always expect some form of JRPG or similar experience.
Is there any MMO out there that you've liked? If no, then you've found your answer.

Much like JRPG aren't for everyone, neither are MMO.

You're so right :O but even when I first played an MMO I hoped that it would be at least fun even if it wasn't similar to a jrpg T_T

Did some Fractuals of the Mist. Pretty fun but I wish I knew wtf was going on. all I knew was that there was a Asura krew and there was alot of radio talking. And that my Asura is currently working on refining the Cat Golums into mini golums. All the fun of a cat built into a miniature golum....GENIUS!

I was there on my warrior, Kuroa. I figured it would've been a bit obvious since I was calling you by Garzel rather than your character name. xD

Oh lol. I though you only had a 80 Ele. Everyone I know calls me Garzel when I play MMOs because that is what my name is usually so if someone calls me it I don't really realize it could be someone I know off game like in these forums.

Nah, I currently have a level 80 Necro, Ele, Warrior, and Guardian. Currently raising my Mesmer now.

Ya Seraphy you have come capable players. Can't wait it try fractuals again. The only fractual I hate the most has to be Jade Maw for the fact that EVERYONE HAS Reflect projectile.....I am a damn Engineer I could use nades or something but I am not built for nade damage.

You would be very surprised after doing more dungeons and learning the ins and outs of each encounter. I have my own issues with some players in my guild. From cockiness, to downright frustration at people who refuse to adapt to a situation with proper skills. There's more than one player in the guild who refuses to use certain skills simply because they don't like it. It makes things that are other wise faceroll tanking into difficult fights with potential wipes.

And it sounds like complaining from me, but there are many who would benefit by reading what their skills and traits do. A friend and I have been playing our Guardians for maybe ~50 hours so far (and crafted our way to 80 instead of playing) and know more about various traits and skills for situations than some who have been playing it since launch (~500+ hours).

That is correct, however come Monday I will be free for the next 10 days.
Also I listen and learn fast so I shouldn't be any trouble as long as I'm pointed in the right direction. :)
