OK, You guys saw Team Bloodlust`s April Fool Video. B&S for Iphone.

Well, That really happens!!!

NCsoft starts recruit for B&S`s sidestory devolopment.

NCsoft said volunteer should know about Unreal engine 3. Also they want a person to travel abroad without disqualification.

Why would they want this game to be released on an iPad/iPod touch? It just seems like it would be really difficult to actually play the game unless they create a controller that is connected to them. Which I'm sure isn't a cheap process. But then again, I really don't know much about game development.

I say nay to that idea until I find out more details.

Title says its a sidestory, meaning it won't be the full game. My guess is its not actually a game at all but rather an app to view your character stats online via your iPhone/iPad.

Aion had several of these apps, some better than others, but none officially endorsed (as far as I know anyway) by NCSoft. I guess this time they realized how much profit they can make from it so they want to make it themselves and get money.

All punt attempts will be met with deadly (yet somehow cute) force.

It's most likely just going to be a mini-game and not an actual MMO for the iPhone/iPad.

I have a feeling they're trying to create something similar to Infinity Blade. Try searching for Infinity Blade. It's an iPhone/iPad app that's also using Unreal Engine.

Oh yeah, I guess if they asked for knowledge of Unreal Engine, its probably a mini game. But I wonder if it will have impact on the actual game. Like...do you get special items or something that you can use in the full version. Or maybe earn some exp. That would be cool cause sometimes I get bored at work and I would love to be able to earn some exp at that time.

Hoping it's just an app or some mini-game. It would be such a waste of time if it's a full-blown version of B&S (more delays).

It's highly unlikely to be a full-blown version of B&S. Mainly because an iPhone won't even have enough RAM to run it in the first place. Don't know about the iPad though but iPhones only have 256 RAM(based on my 3GS).

And yeaah...as long as it doesn't lead to any more delays on theoriginal game..it's cool...idc what the app does but if i can have anything BnS related on my iphone i'll enjoy it for sho!!

Some of you seriously underestimate the iOS devices.
Let me give you an example of quality.

This is what happens when then Unreal engine is applied. (Hint: B&S uses Unreal 3).

Quality aside, the biggest reason for any company to bring apps to the app store?
Money.
Companies make a bundle of money on the app store. Even beginner developers can a decent living off of it.

As I posted the above link, something else came out that's currently blowing my mind away.
Anyone with an iOS device should totally look into this.

I hear it's amazing when the famous purple stuffed worm in flap-jaw space with the tuning fork does a raw blink on hara-kiri rock. I need scissors! 61!

As a owner of an iPad I approve this. I mean, more B&S experience, possible to take wherever you want? Why would you refuse that? But I take this as a side project, like something for them to do when the game is finished. Afterall, it's just an extra right? We want the real thing faster.
