Any other ideas for new classes? Here's a few I'm just gonna lay down.

Personally I feel any of these choices could fit in the game, but what do you think? Oh yeah Don't even consider including Gunner or Archer classes, cause I'm pretty sure we went over that already. Kinda iffy on the Priest though, most Priests in games have a healing ability and B&S theoretically has no healers.

I wanna see a mage that uses more than just fire and ice, I hate it when games stick to that overused 'stereotype'
I also really wanna see the old summoner, just cause it seemed so badass.
Maybe a psychic class like the mesmer would be interesting also.
And I'd love to see an 'Astromancer' class. Magic revolving around stars and space, maybe even gravity! :D

Different versions of the existing class for different races.
I also want to see a Shinto Priest/Priestess that can make Kakkais, Seals, Debuffs and some divine attack/summon magics:

A lyn dark spell caster (for some expansion later) will be interesting too:

And a metamorph class can be an good idea too.

I agree. But be a Priest can't need to be a healer. As I said before, it can be more like an exorcist, barrier maker (Kekkaishi), debuffer and so on.
In eastern stories of priests (like animes) the most of them are combatants. Using it's powers to protect, to restrict, to curse and to attack. In this kind the priest healing abilities usually are out of combat where they use some kind of remedy, paper seals and/or prays to heal someone while they rest.
These kind of priest are also good in a staff combat. So can become cool in this kind of game.
*The idea of fast healing priests came from the ocidental priest that are based in christianism where they use their powers similiar to the Jesus to heal the others.

I don't really like FMs because they don't have a coolest combat type than the other classes. If you see their current game play, they are more like an fire/ice mages then really a "force" master.
Are different from their early concept of be an "force" master where they are most like an Z warrior from DBZ then a mage:

As for a class I would want, I think I would enjoy more variations of the current classes
Maybe like instead of only having Kung Fu, adding Tai Chi, etc. BM - Heavy sword - dual weild.
I don't want to have them as upgrades though, just a separate class. Does that make sense, lol?

Intresting topic here...
From what I have seen thats already in the game...let's make a sum up:
Gon: (1) got the destroyer
Lyn: (1) Summoner and kinda Blade master (I says 1 1/2 exclusive class)
Jin: (0) none, but they counter that with versatlity, the 1 race with the most classes to choose from.
Kun: (0) none, can only pick 2: blade master or Force master.
So I say, give this new 1 to the Kun.
And I like Yuri. idea of the asian priest, and based on the lore of the Kun and grace...she should fit best for this I beleve.
But I gues ppl are mistaken from the wordt "Priest" they go to the classic view of WoW like.
Quote
I say : Chi Master
We already got a Force master, and they utilize Chi for there powers
Incase of close combat fighting.
Use a cane, like the asian belevers use:

Oooo...maybe that dark Lyn could be a form of a lyn assassin!
Dark Summoner! Likely just Lyn at this point, but to match the concept art!
A scythe user! I don't see why it wouldn't fit in with the lore, but I admit I don't know the full lore to BnS (I've been mostly waiting for it to reach NA, but with it taking so long, maybe I should give up on the being surprised and just read the wiki on it).
Specialty classes of similar but different than current classes, like Kun Kung Fu Masters! Ninja Lyns! Not that I'm against unique classes. From what I do know of BnS, I, at this moment anyways, can't imagine Destroyer on any race but Gons.
Also, yes, Gunners and Archers! But give it more than just shooting guns/bows. Put hand to hand in there (more so for the gunners). Possibly classes that are about moving in and out constantly, and maybe for the gunners staying in close being a good option all the time option as well.

So I thought, perhaps the shapeshifter class would consist of descendants of these demonic martial artists. Because martial arts isn't magic, while the shapeshifting idea somewhat involves magic; a way to work around that would be to say that this class draws on the power of the Demon Lord, which grants them a different type of power with its basis still in the realm of martial arts. Their story would be something along the lines of trying to redeem the reputation or to correct the past sins/mistakes of their ancestors. Of course, Jin Suh-Yeon (the woman in black) does operate on the side of the Demon Lord, and her desires clash with those of the shapeshifters, therefore the storyline of this class can be very interesting to develop.

I really believe that the force master is the class that should either receive a major change on the skills or there should be another class added concerning magic
there is a lot of things you could do in either case:
1) there could be a priest like "mage" (as mentioned on other posts) who could dispel, disable, enchant Armour & weapons
2) there could be a guy similar to the priest mentioned on "number 1" but instead he would use melee weapons (i.e. spear, swords, chacrams (I don't think this is the correct spelling) ) and use elements to improve his damage, add debuffs make himself more agile, relying more on dodging rather than blocking or staying afar from the enemy
(I believe there was also a post regarding something similar)
_____________________
but thinking again on those 2 possibilities i mentioned they kinda avoid the basic concept of the force master (connecting with the elements and thus using them) so how about thinking of some more "specific" improvements on the class
lets start with what we (actually I ) don't like about him:
well first of all "we" get bored with this low mobility of him in combat. in combat he stays almost at the same place and just changing his position by moving slowly at another place
secondly he lacks both spells and combos. being away to passively charge up for the powerful spell to "own everybody" is not something that attractive, don't u think so too? playing just to get the mana for the op spell ? that is ridiculous isn't it?
instead he could use his "wind-like" powers to quickly cover short distances around the battlefield
also about the missiles: no spells will follow the target (if there is one) for ever. they will mostly be dodge-able. the missiles will be able to cover only a specific distance and their direction will slightly change over its original one, just so that hitting enemies wont be impossible ( I am not sure if there is already such a system, if there is, that's good to know :P)
Powers i have so far come up with are:
fire -- consisting of dps and aoe spells (less instant damage) .
water -- consisting of spells that are mostly about decent damage and slow
wind -- this element will be mostly a utility element as the active abilities of it will mostly grand you an advantage in positioning rather than in damage. there will be a spell that will kinda fast move you (dash/ almost teleport you) towards the direction you are moving (for example if you are facing the ground, with the camera, and you are moving backwards, then when you will use that ability you will blast off yourself up in the air. it will also be castable in the air) (cooldown of this spell will be about 6-12 sec) . the normal attacks will have the fastest missile speed of all the rest (excluding electricity spells as they will almost instantly with the enemy target ) and they will be able to combo. lastly the rest of these spells will play a disable role.
electricity -- this element will focus on instant damage nukes with low cooldowns (also in some cases lightning will jump from enemy to enemy) (nothing more to say here)
nature -- well not sure about it as i haven't thought of anything attractive about such spells (and I don't want to give him any healing abilities) but still you can always suggest anything on this one.
gravity / time -- again a utility ability which might focus on raising objects (gravity) or create fields that slow any ally or enemy projectiles and/or enemies. yet i still believe this one is a bit overpowered, which is the reason i dont mention anything about it again
blood -- I just hope that by just presenting the name might give you a few ideas other than life leech and blood missiles
Note that normal attacks will only be available with the fire the water and the wind element. the rest will just have spells
also if i got you a bit confused on this note, you wont have to swap elements as in guild wars 2 the elementalist has to
he could change his fighting style depending on the environment (i.e. extra electricity skills shall be "unlocked" if rain clouds are present. Hidden enemies ,if there are any, will be revealed in a forest-like area e.t.c.) but also build up (although a bit extreme) an environment that suits him (i.e. casting fire abilities on lakes can raise fog clouds thus making it both easier to hide yourself and make it a safer choice to cast electric abilities at that place. Charging metal bars with electricity so that you will have a greater chance to dodge upcoming attacks from melee enemies; the reason on this one is that their weapons will tend to move towards the metal , thus making it harder to attack, also the debuff will instantly wear off if the enemy will be hit by an electric attack or if he gets too close to the metal e.t.c.)
so in conclusion i expect a more mobile mage whose fighting style will change depending on the environment, thus being less boring as you proceed in the game relying more on avoiding and "smart" play and less on big damage spells and keeping a distance
SWORD MASTER
well not really much to say here other than that i hope at some level you will be able to expertize on a specific weapon (i.e. katana, greatsword etc) and thus fighting probably in a different manner and having you abilities being changed or improved when wielding that weapon
I have no idea if such playstyle elements already do exist in the game, I am just expressing my opinion on the subject. also sorry if my explanation is not that good

<3 Had to respond to this being a Force Master myself~ I don't think their change needs to be major I just think it needs to be taken into account that BnS is about your ability to control the situation, to keep it in your favor~ It is a rareness among online mmo's that takes defensive into consideration just as much as offense which SHOULD be done when thinking about fighting~ The FM lacks alot of control, at least they do from 1-30~
Chi-choke is getting hammered it seems almost every other day(exaggeration of course xD) but it seems that way. Frostbite loses a bit of it's luster because being able to hit during it sometimes allows said person to attack cancel frostbite.
Watching alot of the old trailers, there are alot of moves the FM has missing, whereas you don't see that hardly at all with the other classes (aka BM, KFM, Sin, Destro etc, you got what you saw for the most part) FMs kinda are 50/50~ and I've come into thinking, maybe, just maybe, this is because some of those skills will show up if ever the class was opened up to Jin's again (hybrid like Lyn Blade Master) because thinking back, all those moves, heck FM showcasing in general was always done by Jin's. The 2009 one even being showcased by Jin's, Gon's and Kun's, and the 2010 being entirely done by Jin >w>, so don't shoot me for this thought process!! >:I I've been wanting my Jin FM back~!
So to put short, it would be nice if they could defend/control things similar to the others~
To get back on topic x3 because the FM is not a new class, I would L-O-V-E a spear/staff type class~! I'm just a junkie for that weapon type and I think it's because I love seeing it twirled or spun around, a grace with power thing~ And seeing as their are already basic functions for a spear user (mob type anyway) in the game, maybe this is something that can happen~ More so, I'd stay focused on those class type mobs that appear in the game that seem to have some of the basic functions of mobs that we can play, are more likely to appear as playable.
Example: Spear, Sword & Shield, Bow & Arrow, Gunner, etc (they're class type mobs with the basic charge type attack and leap skills and what not)

I also hope they put in the Dark Lyns ouo9 that would be really cool!
But i have an idea for a Dancer! Maybe her weapon can be fans/blade fans or something to that extent... i dunno i think it would be cool to dance around and kill enemies with my blade fans ;D (just like katana in Mortal Kombat) mmmmm;;;

Perhaps something that uses music, like the assassins with the guzheng in the movie Kung Fu Hustle, or one that buffs/debuffs like Sona from LoL.
I'm also a sucker for spears.
Spearmaster pls.
