NcSoft made about 7~8 anouncements about Blade and Soul.
Last one was on 5th of december, and january: radio silence. And where dying for any new intel.
Here is a summary

September:
Sep the 13th: They announce they bringing the game to the west and EU.
Sep the 20th: The respect the vision of the artist Hyung-Tae Kim, but need to make slight modifications to pass the PEGI certificate.

October:
Oct the 3th: There jusy happy about all the attention
Oct the 3th: They released some screenshots and wallpapers.
Oct the 19th: They tell us who work on the game (so what).
Oct the 23th: Costume Contest (america only), make fan costumes on a game only seen from teaser trailers. Or korean gaming.

November:
~Radio silence~

December:
Dec the 5th: Announce they are almost done with the translation.

2013
January:
~Radio silence~

February:
~Radio silence~

March:
~???~


Now here is my question to you all: When will they make a new announcement?
And what will it be? Just small talk, or some actual news where waiting from the very first sight we saw Blade and Soul online.

Look in youre Crystal ball , and think how far they are, and when they announce any infomation.

I'm guessing they will make an announcement of some small talk around mid-February, and, if we're lucky, alpha testing, but most likely just small talk.

I hope that by at least April they will have announced Betas...

The lack of information in January is surprising...B&S is coming out this year, the earlier they make noise the better. I'm expecting some good information in February. Possibly a lot of media and other miscellaneous information. What I'm hoping for is a beta date though.

Not really surprised this usually happens with NC, they announce it's coming then go quite while they work on it. Incidentally this was around the time period that aionsource started to turn into a bit of a horrible place community wise. Everyone gets all impatient and at each other's throats.

I think they'll probably announce something mid February and if we're lucky, it'll be an Alpha test in March. There's something about March that makes me feel something good will happen. Idk maybe it's just me. If it is small talk, it has to be something positive, not one of those "points to ponder" ones like the discussion topic "State of the Game".

I think they aim for the big conventions in the summer such as gamescom to announce anything certain.

I too feel like they just have their noses pressed to the screens, working hard to bring us the game.

That's exactly what's happening here.

Normally it would be cool if they kept the community updated on how the westernization process is going and how far along they've gotten and what changes are being made just to keep people informed and start growing interest, but I guess they just don't have anything worth announcing.

For me the lack of news and updates just shows how far out western launch is going to be. Summer release is out of the question in my opinion.

In the mean time, we can return to flinging poo at each other in irritation.

From a business perspective, I think they would spend much of January brainstorming their year out. Not just B&S but probably all other projects too. Once the pre-production is complete, they'll be on their way to whatever it is they were set out to do, and I get that tingling feeling that we won't be hearing much else until March. I'm hoping for some sort of Alpha testing/Beta testing references but that's hopeful.

They shall announce that, in the spirit of BnS, all female personnel outside and inside of the localization team will experience a permanent and mandatory change to the work dress-code. They shall all wear mini-skirts and those unable to wear them due to sanitary and/or health issues must schedule a meeting with their personal doctors to determine a means to facilitate optimal mini-skirt wearing.

Also they will later announce the future plans of the male dress-code changes that will be implemented later this spring. There is some talk of speedos being on the next meeting agenda.

I hope they announce beta testing and release date on march but if i follow my gut feeling they will announce beta testing on april. and Q4 is going to be release date
