Hi there :)

I just found a way to play korean version (dont ask how ) and i was wondering if there is any point in playing or if i wont understan anything (since i dont speak korean).
i have seen some videos with some translated englist features.

i hope i dont break any rules asking this, if i do i apologise and you can remove the thread

I just want to try the game and are wondering if i would understand even how to get it started xD

Well .. you just wont be able to understand the quests and what the npc says .. thats all really .. can't see why you should not play if you can.
Don't think there is any rules about that you can't play if you can't understand it.

Hi Nattsu,

on server 태산북두 there are many people who also don't speak korean.
I started also without any knowledge about this game and made my way through it.
You will understand after some time what skills and talents are doing just by testing them.

In the Dojo you can find many explanations to stats and so on, so I'm sure you will find your way through the game.
One of the bigger problems playing on korean server is the latency. Without a vpn client its nearly unplayable, when you're living in europe (from NA I don't know if you need one).

The next problem is endgame. Sure, you can do the raids and do some 1vs1 arena fights but it may happen that you get bored after some time :/.
But to solve this problem you could join loli for example. There are a lot of english speaking people. Perhaps you will find there some people to enjoy endgamecontent together :).
To join this guild you need to choose the red faction (this choice will be around around lvl 22 while doing the mainstory). If you choose the wrong one that's no problem, you can change it anytime (it exists also a guide for this in the dojo).

Also a good site with guides is steparus forum. There you find what to type if you search something special in the auction house (for example hammer to repair, items to enchant your bo pae).

and i have seen pictures and youtube films with some of the text in english and some not, are there a mod or something that translates something?

If not ill just have to learn korean one "sign" at the time

No there doesn't exist a mod that translates korean parts of the game.

When you saw english translated parts thats from a "special server" we are not allowed to talk about in this forum :)

It's not to tough to start getting the gist of what things mean =3 You'll do ok~

Besides that fact, the game has a really good quest and quest helper system~!

i don't know a word of korean besides ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ and i'm doing pretty well. It's a bit difficult to find parties for endgame dungeons tho, which is why i basically confined myself to the tower of mushin

Ok tried to download the korean client all weekend with no luck.

AS i am downloading (or atleast i think i am as i dont understand S*** xD )
I get this pop up with nothing but question marks where i can choose either option one with ? or option 2 with ??? xD
and it downloads forever.

i had to restart computer in the middle because it decided to update windows xD and instead of picking up where it left of it started all over :S


Any advice?
