Update - For an in-depth coverage on each individual class, containing everything there is to know about them, visit the following threads! These threads will be constantly updated as we continue to receive new information about them throughout G-Star 2010.

Hey folks! What an exciting couple days it has been, huh? We'll be pumping you with goodies all day today so be prepared! First off we bring you some new information on 4 of the 5 revealed playable classes (Assassins not included)! This was taken from Blade & Soul's newly designed Korean site (link). Information and videos translated by Yuan.

Blade Master 劍士
This class specializes in sword combat to deliver a variety of attacks. Using their sword they utilize skills like the "Batto Jutsu" technique to attack or defend against their enemies. Blade Masters are quite good at parrying their enemies blows, leaving them vulnerable to effective counter attacks. They don't always rely on close combat to bring their enemies down, they can use a flying sword technique that will harm their enemies from afar.

Take a look at some of the Blade Master's skills:

Kung-Fu Master 拳士
This class utilizes their own fists and feet to defeat their enemies. Most of the Kung-Fu Master's attacks are delivered in combos for fast and very effective melee ranged blows. With such quick reflexes Kung-Fu Master's can attack and defend with ease, able to react to even the most dire situation as quickly as possible. They have absolutely no problem taking the advantage over their enemies during battle with such speed.

Kung-Fu Master's have a defensive stance for more survivability. While using defensive stance they can still attack fairly quickly, they can also take advantage of their enemy's weaknesses to quickly sustain them or to deliver deadly combo attacks.

Take a look at some of the Kung-Fu Master's skills:

Force Master 氣功士
Force Master's use Chi to deliver devastating blows to their enemies. Using the Ki-Gong-Pe, a Chi bracelet they wear around their wrist, they can shoot off many different forms of abilites, ranging from ranged fire explosions to chi leeching techniques that deliver unavoidable attacks and grabs. Force Masters are the masters of control, they can apply movement impairing effects to multiple enemies, allowing them to take on more than one foe at a time.

Take a look at some of the Force Master's skills:

Destroyer 力士
Destroyer's power comes from their immense physical strength. They wield large axes to deliver fatal blows to their enemy targets. They also enjoy taking advantage of their winning situations, grabbing enemy corpses and tossing them at other foes. Hell, they will grab anything in their sight to toss at their enemies. Destroyers have great defense making it easier to deal with melee attackers and multiple enemies at once. Destroyer bodies were trained to withstand even the harshest attack, they often become the strong root of their allies.

Take a look at some of the Destroyer's skills:

Really interesting.
It indeed seems like an "easy to control, hard to master"-type of scheme.

And I'm glad it's mostly chained, so you can throw in your own variety
and you don't have to be dependant on a certain skill to "unlock" a follow-up skill that you are aiming for.
(if that makes any sense)

Sidenote: glad to see some subtitles, makes a little more sense this way XD

Thanks for the post Boss! :]

It was posted on the official site no more than 10 hours ago, I don't consider that old. We needed some time to get this translated.

So you knew the skill chains of those four classes, what they did and what they were called ?

I doubt it, seeing as the Blade and Soul Dojo youtube channel is the first place to have translated it from what I've found.

But yeah on-topic : Was watching these as they went up on the aforementioned Youtube channel, great work ! And really interesting to see how the chaining works on each of the classes, with Destroyers having rage and Force Masters having to stack 'embers' on their opponents to trigger big damage.

And omg healing on the stat 'web' :D Healing class! I am so fucking psyched

Hmmm, loving the Destroyer vid, Their attacks are strong. While they can unleash sick AOE attacks they can also unleash focused on one one attacks like full swings, kicks, etc.

Really like how the their body is such a great defense and even offensive mechanism. Did you guys see how if they get crowded they can unleash a "body energy" attack? that was awesome.

You mean the class descriptions? Sure, the gist of it has been explained in the past but but these descriptions are all new descriptions TeamBloodlust provided less than a day ago. Moreover, it's a direct translation and not made a up description from past news/info.

This is all helpful, to me anyway, specially "Hell, they will grab anything in their sight to toss at their enemies."
It's also in the Destroyer vid here, looks so awesome!

Thank you for the links and the posted videos, Yuan and Revast! It's nice being able to figure out what the Korean text is - now it's much easier for me personally to understand some of the techniques displayed by each class. Looking forward to more translated information to be posted!
Which do you think is worse? Having a signature that you never, ever change? Or having none at all?

I cant wait for this game to come out lol. To be honest, its everything i expected from it to be, AND Much more that i didnt think it would be humanly possible to implement in a MMO to begin with.

sorry if i didn't make myself clear...yeah i'm talking about the description. BM use sword and chi sword etc and KFM use fist and martial art. FM use force and destroyer a tank which is quite obvious. so yeah i considering it old news with more details.

skill chain? name? no idea even now, not like you need to know the name to use a skill but here i read it before....trustworthy or not, i don't know either

Then wouldn't it say 'Buffing' instead of 'Healing' in the skill web >_>?

Here is a little taste of the translation to come.

"There is no SET roles for each class."

That is all.

It's just, why would you need a healer here? You got dodges\parry and you can help yourself when hp is 0.

I have a feeling the Summoner will be able to heal his/her summon and maybe even himself/herself since their defense will be so bad.
