If you won the lottery, say a million dollars ($1,000,000), what would you do in the first week?


Would you wait until taxes, would you donate, would you wait before cashing it?






I do not believe i'm a good example, since I rarely spend money unless it is on gum and soda. The last big thing I bought for myself, was a punching bag.

I'm very cheap and only buy things like sneakers or clothes sometimes ,1m that's it though prolly give it to my parents.

Pay off my debt and the debts of my immediate family. Secure enough so that my little sister can pay for grad school and get her PHD if she wants. Then I'd go on a shopping spree of clothes and gadgets.

After that, whatever is left, I'd invest.

I'd put 500,000 in my savings account for when I go off to college.. 100,000 for my mum and 100,000 for my pee paw
Donate 50,000 to either Stem Cell research or to a Foster Care/Orphanage 50,000 on gifts for my whole family.. another 50,000 to have an amazing vacation
and I guess stowaway the last 150,000 for retirement/Emergencies..(And purchase a teacup pig..)

I'd move to Kansas City and open up a custom PC building business.

Buy a decent house. Not no mansion or anything just a place to live and not have to pay rent sept for utilties.

Use the rest for schooling and give some to parents.

Time spent wishing is time lost.

Split it in 4.
Bank the first portion in a fix deposit.
Invest the second portion stocks or a company.
Use the third portion to fix up my mother's house and our family finances.
Use the last bit to advance my education.
Once I'm out of school the money in the fixed account should have grown I'll use it to get a small house/car.
The invested money will be used for miscellaneous and reinvested as seen fit.

I'd invest all of them in my carefuly planned business:
<Part 1>: All of them go ino a farm with cows bred for milking, all ECO and natural because my country has large plains and I live in the best area for this type of buisness.

The EU gives me back 50% of all I've spent, meaning lots of paperwork but it's totally worth it. </Part 1>
Part 2 start here:
With the 500k back I buy land purposed for cereal growth and all the equipment needed+irigation system that is already present but needs to be redone.
By the time I got my first crop the cow farm had produced enough to expand and be a top producer.
Part 3:
Raise enough money to buy servers. In a country with a world top 10 internet speed not hosting servers is just dumb.

I know everything is possible and it's not just pure confidence. I've proven to myself I'm made for business many times already.
After I raise enough I'll start donating. What happens next only I know.
