so i was wondering if anyone who has played the Korean B&S how good are the optimizations on low-mid comps, my current specs meet the recommend requirements(got it from Can You Run it but any mmo player knows that stuff is very loose with its requirements. for instance tera has some pretty low requirements but anyone who has played it knows about the UI bug and the infamous Nexus -.-(10 fps is not my idea of playable)

so i was just wondering if a player who has atleast experienced some mid-late game content could tell me if im good to go,

GPU - xfx 6850
CPU - AMD Phenom II 965 quad
RAM - 6 gigs

Psh, hey.

And yes, TERA is beyond shit as far as UI and optimization goes, unless your system gets lucky.
B&S has no UI issues, but optimization can be a little... shaky.

yeah i know what the spec are required are but i was asking for more of an ingame assessment as the stuff gaming company's put up for system requirements are to be taken with a grain of salt. they will say ur system meets recommend but be based it soley on a low pop area with nothing busy such a tutorial but then make some ridic mid -late game area that needs a top of the line system.

There is not a whole lot that can be done as far as having low performance in a crowded area.
While Team Bloodlust has done a much, much better job at optimizing with B&S than say Bluehole Studio did with TERA, the two games run on Unreal Engine 3. Which isn't ideal for MMO games.

Too many players or many things going on at once on the screen can bring the engine down to it's knees regardless of how powerful your processor is.
However, in TERA's case, there is another factor... Scaleform.
Scaleform is a really poor form of Flash based UI module. If you have too many things going on with it, it devours your performance. This on top of UE3, is why TERA plays like crap on some systems.

To answer your question, yes, B&S and it's developers have done a far, far better job at optimizing than TERA's developers.
But don't expect magic in crowded areas.
I think the best optimized game I've played in crowded areas up to date, has been GW2.

I've never played the game but I've seen 24 man raid videos they didn't look laggy not even a little, maybe it wasn't enough enough people for it to lag

Most of the videos with high FPS that I've seen, are usually recorded by players with high spec PC; such as Steparu.
The OP is talking about low-medium PC spec.

Everything runs better on an equally priced AMD GPU.
