This is good information because I've seen both sides of this viewpoint. But I wouldn't be surprised if the majority of the Japanese have that view of liking Japan more when they do visit the US/Europe.
I had a Japanese friend who saw how unorganized everything is in the US and the stress. Japan is a lot of work too but they do things right...or better.
One reason people leave Japan is because of the heavy stress, the high suicide rates are tied to stress at work and school. Also they still treat woman not as good as they can be
