I really enjoy when a game is released in Winter, but that may just be me. In addition of being my favorite season, it offers a balance of game time and school(or work for those who no longer need education!), and because of the holidays you'd have some extra cash around to spend it.

I just feel Fall is too awkward for a release date, it's when school is starting up again, and it's always been my busiest season.

I think Summer would be a popular opinion, and I would have to agree that it offers many appealing aspects; plenty of time to play, no school, and an excuse to stay inside! Because I am mortal enemies with the sun. My only complaint is that I could burn myself out, but looking a NCSoft's success record with past games and the pure awesomeness this game provides that would be extremely difficult.

I could live with Spring too, it's kind of a wind down into the summer, not too busy, but you have other things to make play time that much more exciting.

I understand that it takes time to perfect a game, especially for a Western release, and personally I hope they release it soon. But I also want them to take as much time as they need, it's important that they get it right, I can wait, it'll be worth it. I know they aren't going to be releasing B&S anytime soon in the Winter, so my hopes for a Winter released are crushed! But we have a Spring and Summer for possible release dates, so I am still pretty excited. Just gotta keep checking the news for updates and such!

When would you prefer they release B&S?

Whenever it's ready. I don't mind waiting a few extra months if it means avoiding a launch as terrible as Diablo 3.

Spring, relatively soon with an Easter break in the middle, just the right amount of time ^_^

But summer would also be great as like you said there would be plenty of time to play, but that also get a lot of time to perfect the game.

I don't even know what to say about Diablo 3, I pretty much gave up when my monk decided to use her hands rather than the nice 2H weapon on her back

Summer would be the best time for me because there is no way it release in Spring now. Fall I can take but will really sting, I'm not too into how crammed the fall is with good games, you can't buy them all.

They will face a lot of console competition if they decide on releasing it in Fall or deep Fall.

I'd have to say spring or summer for betas at least. If there aren't betas by Q1/Q2 it's a bit too long to wait, tbh. It's not like they have to give us any of the really recent content to start off with, I wouldn't mind waiting.

I think in fall there will be some competition, so I think it's best for them to do it before then, and as you said, it would be a bit awkward.

In normal circumstances I would say summer, but Final Fantasy 14 ARR looks like it's going to be released this summer. So I think fall/winter for Blade and Soul would be the best to avoid having to compete so close to the launch of another potentially big game that could hamper the initial release market.

Or course that's unless by some miracle Blade and Soul can manage a release in spring.

Well .. aslong beta starts in q1-q2 of 2013 i'm happy and then i don't mind waiting to q3-q4 for the game to release :p

I chose summer, hopefully late June like Korean B&S, I'll have a bit more free time in the summer so I can just game all day.
