Yup, boredom strikes again so I start another Poll.


How did you: got wind of-/heard of-/ discovered- Blade and Soul online?

Fill in the poll and share us youre story.


And for my personal enlightment.
I was just plaing Tera for 2 weeks or so, and I wanted to do a dungeon.
As what I learned from WoW, youtube it, to prevent nasty surprises.

But the movies were (...) while scouring for a better 1, I noticed "Blade and Soul online" vids. (long live sensable search on youtube)
I was thinking...whats this? Decided towatch a vid. It was 1 from Stepparu.


I went...that looks awesome!
And searched for more, watched more. And the more I watched the more I went: "screw Tera! this rocks!"

So after 7 days trial + 30 days subscription, I was already burned out of Tera becus of Blade and Soul clips.

Someone I knew on dream of mirror online told me about been hooked on blade and soul ever since.

I think a friend showed it to me. I bitched about it because I was very pessimistic about mmos at the time and now I feel bad about doing that. :p

But yeah between this, FF14 2.0, and PSO2, it looks like a charter year for mmos.

I found a video about BnS and that led me to do some research on it; that was about two months ago and it just looked so good I decided to wait for it to come out in America! Can't wait!

I can't even remember how I found this out, maybe from when people was saying Blade & Soul was copying Tera is when I decided to search up the game.

Btw they have a big differences in gaming....

I do not remeber correctly. It was somewhere at early 2009. I was looking for informations about Lineage 3. I found first screenshots from Tera and this trailer:


(It had old good voices from Lineage 2 :D )

It was ages ago, don't quite remember exactly but I was surfing out the net and found a video and went

I was browsing http://www.mmorpg.com/gamelist.cfm for some new MMORPG's to play because I hadn't been playing any for almost 3 months.
I searched for the largest hype and close to the top I saw Blade and Soul, I like the name so I clicked and read into it, searched some more, and fell in love with it. Now I wait for the western release! ^.^

Well. I'm a really big fan of TERA's Elin and I consider myself to be the worlds first Elin-ologist. I was browsing MMOsite and saw that there was an article comparing both Elin and Lyn's. I was instantly drawn to B&S! ^_~

Before everything, it was announced the NCSoft and Team Bloodlust was working on a Next-Gen Martial Arts MMORPG dubbed (Project-M). It was around the end of 2007, then 2008 they came out with the first Trailer and called it Blade & Soul.

In the video at 4:15-4:26 and 5:50-6:02 is Project M~ (now Blade & Soul)

I first saw blade and soul when I'm watching mmo trailers on youtube bcuz I'm bored And then when I saw and watched the trailer of blade and soul I got shocked about how awesome the combat style of this game.
so yeah that's how i got hooked to this game.

TBH I can't really remember, I was probably looking for real time action mmo or rpg and I probably came across the video below some way or another.
