So how well do you think this will run, I have the items in my newegg cart but wanted another opinion, or if I made a mistake with one of the parts, pointers~

If you're thinking of running BnS in high/full graphic level, I don't recommend 7770 :/. You'll be somewhere around medium high spec with 40fps

The 660 in the build I linked will run the game maxed. If you're gonna save up for a better card either get a 7950 or 670.

hmmm actually Ima get the GTX 680~ yea that cards awesome, also im assuming the FPS chart is only for 1920x1080? what if I played on a lower res? (ofc its TOTALLY unpro to not play BnS on anything BUT 1920x1080 so I will be playing in this) just wanna know what my FPS would be on a lower res tho~

The 680 is a terrible card. only 5% faster than the 670 yet costs $100 more. It also performs worse than a 7970 when both are fully overclocked.

All you need to max out BnS is going to be either a 660 or 7870. if you want to max out any game then get either a 670 or a 7950.

Lower resolutions will increase performance quite a bit, BnS could most likely be maxxed out on a 7770 or 560ti at 1280x720. however, if you're really considering a 680, don't do it. Get a 7950 and spend the other $150 on a nice SSD.

And for context when I say max out I mean running the game with 55fps+

I have no idea how much change current version from old. But IT worked well 1080p with max settings on Radeon HD 5850. Only issue what I had was force AA.

But in UE3 engine is very CPU depend, not GPU.

Read more carefully. That deal only applies for in-store pick-up, which is an option for very few people.

You'll be spending at least $210 on a 3570K.

Looks like you're getting everybody confused on what you're actually looking to build, because you mentioned at first that your budget was only ~$600, and now you're willing to shell out $469 just for the card?

Other than that, you're right. It is an awesome card. No matter how much you overclock a 670, all you have to do is overclock a 680 to surpass it.. Heck, mine's not even overclocked because I see that as overkill with current games.

If a flagship card is what you want, and at that price point if you're used to having the AMD drivers, the 7970 should be the better option. But if you prefer nvidia's drivers, you don't even have to think about it. I'm not going back to AMD anytime soon.

However, if you're only interested in B&S and you actually have a budget, then I strongly suggest going for the aforementioned cheaper suggestions. On the other hand, you might want to think about it a little more if you're looking into future games based on newer engines, more advanced than UE3. You might get too used to playing B&S maxed out, to the point where you'd want the same experience in more resource intensive engines..

I am a total graphics whore so I never had much of a choice lol. But you can be much wiser than me with your budget, by coming out somewhere in the middle and still maxing it out.

I mentioned earlier in a different thread that you should wait another ~4months. New Intel CPUs and the next-gen ATi GPUs are coming out. With Nvidia always being late. Anyways, if you can wait by then, the current prices of 7000 series will definitely drop, or you could probably buy a better 8000 card with the same budget on the 7000. Also for the CPU, I would suggest getting at least the i5. BnS is also CPU hungry from my experience.

Not too long ago, I got myself a 7970 and I still had my AMD CPU. My AMD CPU was bottlenecking the sh*t out of my 7970. Would sometimes receive ~10fps in dungeons. I have to deal with this until I can upgrade my CPU, which I plan to do in the upcoming 4 months.

As for the GPU I suggest the 7850/7870.

I might sound biased, but don't purchase overpriced Nvidia products. The 7970 GHz edition, outperforms the 680 GTX, with the new 11.12 catalyst. People say that new driver changed everything, feels as if they bought a new GPU. This driver has increased performance on the 7850/7870 as well. Just shows that AMD is starting to show more care and attention towards their drivers. Hopefully they continue to this and clean up their tarnished reputation for their driver support.

And for the price/performance comparison between the 670 and the 680, the 680 isn't worth it. With only a 5% performance difference for ~$100... I would roll with the 670 any day over the 680.

SIDE NOTE
Make sure you can keep your temperatures cool.
I did a poor job cooling my system, and it resulted in a lot of stuttering fps and crashes.

i would suggest going for MSIs gtx 670 power edition. It's factory overclocked and it seems to be just as powerful as a 680 for $100 cheaper
