Happy New Year as well to you. We don't know when it will release or if there's a beta. But as time passes we can start to guess the timeline better.

No beta in January or February so this means beta will most likely start around Spring. If that's the case then it means B&S will release in Summer or Fall.

While it seems like a long wait we're officially in 2013 Meaning that at least this is the year we will get it and won't have to think about another year. Let's just hope they don't release it late this year like November or December.

I don't want a release date, it's way too early in the process. They can take as long as they want to get it right but NcSoft WEST knows what they're doing.

Expect nothing and wait till they're ready is how I'm dealing with it, lots of other things to do in the meantime

It's here, 2013 has arrived.
The year, many rumors talk about when Blade and Soul get's ONLINE.

- People check the main website daily to see any new news.
- The Dojo for any leaked intel.
- The NCsoft website for hidden messages.

The eyes and ears are sharp this year, ppl are waiting for the game like: "A lurking tiger in the bushes, with his eyes set on a prey"

But here is the question: Do you got the patience?

I can wait, people argue that the game is already done so what's the hold up. NcSoft West wants to make the game marketable for the majority not just people who've been waiting to play it since day one

I can wait because the more I've followed this game the more I've come to realise I'm going through the same process I go through with every new MMO I get obsessed with.

stage 1) Ermagherd this Game looks so cool!!!!! stage 2) Can't wait to play this game! :D stage 3) *Plays the game* Oh wait, I have to repeat the same thing over and over for 80 levels? When I do get to the last level, there's only killing monsters, players or going through a hall whilst killing monsters?



So yeah, Blade and Soul encaptivated me with it's astounding art style, intriguing world and flashy combat, but in the long run, It's still got everything I hate about MMOs in it.

With that in mind I still feel somewhat excited for it, and I may end up playing it. I mean, who knows? maybe it'll be the first MMO I play for more than a fortnight....we'll see.

I was quite hyped up for TERA Online... and we all know how big of a flop that one was...

So, not really expecting a lot from B&S.

Unless they'll introduce improved and meaningful PvP I won't be playing it.
Unless there's something to fight for, like castles or raid boss spawns or guild vs guild wars, I won't get excited.

Battlegrounds, arenas and other shenanigans are not something what I'm looking for in an MMO.

I can wait. I have other games to play, and a lot of new stuff I've gotten. The hype's starting to die down for me too, and I'm getting pushed away by some of the community here, sadly. Hopefully not being on here all the time will mitigate that somewhat, but this is a very P2P-fan-heavy community and I'm very unused to it. Nothing personal guys, just a simple difference of opinion, viewpoint and what we're used to.

Most of the time it seems like I need more patience, but for this I can wait. I've only recently become interested in this game and I'm more excited to learn about the game than anyhting. I hope of course the wait won't be to long, but its for the better. As said earlier, I'm also not used to P2P/B2P being so pronounced ~ I've only played one game were I had to pay for it and well, it wasn't worth it. As for B&S, as I learn more, I wouldn't be against paying money to play.

Yeah I haven't even beat all of Teras endgame plus there's new content for us in January. Too much to do.
