Money certainly has power, but in the end it's only a tool that we all use to lead us to better things. Does that include "Happiness"?

Yep.

But don't be deceived by assuming money can get you anything you want. It's just a means to an end that you see clearly.

As a wise businessman once said: "You can always lose money chasing women, but you can never lose women chasing money."

As a wise king once said: "Do exactly as you like. That is the true meaning of entertainment. And entertainment leads to joy… And joy will lead you to happiness."

Money CAN'T buy happiness, BUT because of how mankind has designed it's system to shove down anyone who lacks money, it can remove the obstacles that stand between you and being happy but it can't MAKE you happy.

So why exactly can't removing obstacles, bring happiness?

Why can't being able to use money to get things make you happy?

Doing as you like, should bring happiness, no matter how you look at it.

Money doesn't buy happiness. You find happiness in life and this can be a extension of your hobbies and such that money can fuel but money itself doesn't make you like it more, it just enables you to have more freedom with it.

money is money and happiness is happiness i consider them two completely different and unrelated things. yea money can get you a new computer a nice car but those things will only put a temporary smile on your face unlike finding the one you love or an unforgettable time with your friends, those, shouldn't require money in my opinion. Ive had so many times when Ive gone out with my friends with like 3 dollars in my pocket and we had the time of our lives together...

Happiness is subjective. I think we're all trying to ask the real question here. How do you feel about money?
In my opinion i hate it, it's a system designed to enslave each and every human in the world to live in a single town, city, or state forever with very little freedom. It's a slavery system.

Who told who that they OWN a piece of land?

@Ghastly

That, or a system to quickly calculate value more quickly. Considering people traded produce, animals, information, land, jewels, artwork, etc., before coins and currency.

So are you telling us trade is a slavery system?

Or are you trying to define the people who use money for such things. Even then, money only does so much.

As a wise man once said, "Righteousness, is a father teaching his kids, that what's better than wealth is respect in itself."

As for the land part:

The existence that defended it the best and/or took it, told (be it physically or metaphorically) that they claim this land for them and their peoples, because they need it/want it/both.

The animals who had a tendency for territory, fought other animals. Tribesmen fought off wildlife to make and keep their homes. Tribesmen were raided, attacked, enslaved, massacred, etc. by other tribesmen, future military, sometimes natural disasters.

That simply depends on what you consider happiness, ultimately for me yes money does = happiness. Already dating the girl I wish marry, in order to take care of her and our future kids, requires money. There are many things that can be done without it, though without a doubt it sure does help to have money. Perhaps if this was a different time money would be less important. I see some people don't really want to have children and such, having money to do whatever you want to do can be just as rewarding.
