just so you know, bull headed men aren't something that only exist in greek or roman myths. eastern myths and legends have plenty of creatures similar to Greek and Roman myths. Roman gods, legends and such are heavily influenced by the Greeks and its not entirely out of the question that the Greeks myths and legends were influenced by some further eastern stories. don't be so quick to judge, myths and legends come from over the world throughout history. dragon lore exists in almost every civilization and that's not just coincidences.

mostly i was talking about the player obtainable clothes.... losing more of the 'eastern', adding more of the 'fantasy'. if you missed the event a few months ago, the 'samurai' suit with the hat is the most recent suit that looks asian.

no, i haven't missed any updates since the opening of the 7 level solo instance tower. the event costumes and christmas costumes aside, i think the new green costumes from the spiral labyrinth are very asian. while the minotaur arena thing is quite twilight princess..doesn't mean they didn't exist in some asian lore or story. and those two thunder and lightning bosses are definitely based off of the two thunder and wind brother myth from Japan named Rai-jin and fu-jin, i remember correctly. i may have their names wrong but i'm positive of the legend...so those green costumes are reflective of those two bosses so as those bosses are asian influenced, the costumes are asian influenced as well. asia is a big place so any myth or legend found in asia is considered asian..from India to Japan. and everything in between..i'm sure one of those smaller asian countries has a legend or two of a minotaur and a labyrinth. ^_^

Final Fantasy wasn't always set in a medieval world (FFX). Hyung Tae Kim himself said that he doesn't want B&S to only be limited to Eastern lore, he said that he wants the game to have the freedom to be in a fantasy world without strict restrictions. He was talking about costume designs, it was one of the interviews he had way back when.

Every single costume, boss, and dungeon doesn't have to be strictly based on Eastern lore. Most of the game is set in Eastern fantasy, not all of it has to be.
