Watching the cgaracter creater videos on Youtube, it got me curious. Do players generally keep the Lyn character looking small as we usually see them, or do more players tend to increase their size?

Usually small. Some make them extra mini and some make them as large as possible (Wich is around Teenager size)

I make mines Teen size, really don't see the reason why I should have them looking like 5 year olds :/

Your post doesnt really fit to the avatar you have tbh xD But well, I think those small charasters look funny, summoners smaller then their cat or a mini LBM forcejoking a huge boss, I wouldnt like to play a mini char myself tho, hehe

Too tall and lyns look out of apportion. That's why players generally make smaller lyns.

And saying you don't want a Lyn that looks like a 5 year old is stupid. They are smaller creatures that do resemble a child but are very old.

When it comes to Lyn, it just doesn't feel right for them NOT to be small (that's how I feel, anyway).

You know, that's what I was thinking. The race seems to be a race of, well, midgets. :p What about in game, are all NPC Lyn's small or are there some big ones as well?

The proportions when you make them taller are fine (mine is fairly tall), you just have to tweak more than just their height to make it not look odd (mainly head size/width and shoulder size/width).

I made mine as tall as humanly or rather lynily possible. Which is still pretty small, my summoner is the same size as her cat, which was the also the tallest cat available (persian one). XD!
It's not really teenage size... maybe pre-teen I think.

Well, I've known some pretty tall and some pretty short pre-teens. :p It's more the look and less just about the height.

From your screenshots in your thread I don't think you've chosen the tallest possibility for the Lyns. At least it doesn't seem so. To be honest the Lyns look fine as long as you don't go for too tall as in the extremely tall ones. They just look funny like that! :3

In my opinion taller Lyns look better, they seem to suit their doboks more when you can actually make out the different parts of their bodies.
