In terms of the melee classes, which one is the clear victor? Which one has the advantage over the other class?

Jin blade master
Lyn blade master
Destroyer
Kung fu master
Assassin

Only the melee classes are what I am asking about!
So, experienced players of the Korean server, please give me an input!

I understand this game is very skill based but let's put into assumption that both players have the same skill level.

As I explained in the other thread, you probably mean Lyn, not Kun.

Kun BM and Jin BM are the same class.

I have no idea how is realy balance. But if this game supposed to have an group PvP so it should be like that:

Destro > KFM > BM > Assasin > FM=Sumoner

Why?
Destro is the slowest from all, supposed to destroy target and resist the most DMG. Character like this to be usefull in any group PvP should be the best in 1v1.
KFM - completly no range skills, no solid defence make this class easy target in group PvP. So it should be strong at other points, what usualy make classes like this strong in 1v1.
BM - range attacks, solid block. I belive it make this class strong at group PvP. It should not be too much powerfull in 1v1.
Assasin - stealth....
FM & summoner - range DPS...

My point is MMO should be balanced for group PvP, never 1v1.

Except BNS is supposed to have 1v1 arena. And just because other games never did it doesn't mean it's impossible. And a special hint just for you, no healing class makes balancing easier by 10 folds.

The same as 36 vs 36 BG and faction wars. And basically every MMO had duel option. Question is how seriously this 1 vs 1 are is taken by developers and content designers. My post is based on my expectations - And I expect MMORPG, not PvE theme park + duels area.

But that is exactly what B&S is based on. Theme Park PvE and 1vs1 ranked arena. The 36 vs 36 is a gimmick for fun, not ranked and we don't know how the BG itself will actually look like.
The 1on1 is ranked and is what matters. Faction wars don't really exist in B&S, there simply is no reason for them.

That's completely incorrect based on my experience Destroyers skill kit is pretty disgustingly broken in pvp in 1v1 or group and with good ping they're probably the strongest pvp class with the raw defensive ability and offence alike that they possess and Assasin being number 2 is very iffy considering they're extremely gear dependant and lose some match ups 1v1 nearly by default it seems but thats just my opinion after playing Assasin for a few weeks now and have average gear i'm not too impressed but on the same hand I see some koreans with maxed gear 3 shotting people so I guess time will tell.

That is wrong on so many levels.
As mentioned before by me and the guy above me. Destroyer is by far the strongest class. Assassins on the second spot is more or less correct. A LBM might be better now.

I am not too familiar with the current BnS metagame, but I do recall Destros having a significant 1v1 advantage over KFM's earlier on, so much so that they recieved a buff. Other then that i cannot say, I think the assassin may the highest number of favorable matchups, but It also seems to me they require the most skill to play maybe with exception of a KFM.

The destro is gonna win even harder then in this video now. Max HP is way higher and the Black Gem is out. BM will stand no chance to kill a destro.

Forgive the noob question, but what's a black gem? I'd asked in the PvP section about the gear vs. skill ratio but this sounds pretty gear-based. =/

The Black gem is a PvP gem that can be bought once you reach, I believe Gold Ranking. This gem heals for 150 in each hit taken. (EACH FREAKING HIT!)
It also has a 3 AP increase (I think it was a procc tho, need to check)

Urgh. Is Gold ranking hard to reach? (Appreciate all the detailed info by the way!)
