Would love to help ya, but you gotta submit more pictures. Where does this star appear on ur map, what level are you, what quest hub are you at? What have you done to complete the quest? Provide info and pics please. Most important would be pics of where you are (on the big map)

You need to buy a repair hammer from the npc. I think it's the more expensive one, but not positive.

I think it may have been that. I got a hammer as quest drop and it allowed me to finish...
