What are some good reasons to move in with someone?

Hmm... I think a good reason to move in with someone is to depend on or support them and to have them do the same.
If I had to, I would prefer to move in with someone I trust and someone I can associate with on a regular basis.

Trust me, moving out on your own terms is the only way to go. Moving in with someone chains you to that person. I don't want no chains on me

Hehe well moving in temporarily isn't bad. When it's vague with no real terms that's when it's a problem. But moving in a month or two with a friend is alright, but it must be temporary.

It depends on your personality and the personality of the other person.
In my case, I have not had a roommate since college because I am super anal about cleanliness and organization so its hard for me to live with others. I like living by myself. The only way I will ever live with someone is if I'm in a very serious relationship.
And what Lyndis probably means are things like the rent and utilities (electric or gas, TV, internet, etc) that both you and your roommate use.

I've been living with friends in different share houses for like... 5 years or so. It's good fun but obviously has it's downside. Like when I'm the only one who cares about the place looking like a dump xD. Living with lazy people can be a pain in the ass but meh, as long as they clean sometimes 
I've had this go through my mind a couple of times while living with my friends:
"OK! I've cleaned the kitched, lounge room, taken out the trash and vacuumed the whole house. Now I guess I'll make dinner for everyone since I bought so much meat."
"Wait a second....."
"I'VE BECOME A MUM!"
"You bastards... you did this to me........why..."

Me and my friend want to find a place on our own. He is money smart, and he has good work connections if something were to happen. Only problem is he is lazy in the house and lives like a troll.
I can understand living with strangers can be troublesome if you don't know them but I have some friends who want to get out of the nest also so it would be a good experience for both of us and for us to spread our wings.

Id LOVE to move out but i dont have a car nor do i have the money to sustain myself if i were to live on my own.

I prefer to live on my own, or with someone else who is very quiet and keeps to themselves. I am an introvert and I love having quiet alone time for most of the day. However, I do find it comforting to know that there is somebody else in the next room over... my imagination sometimes gets the better of me when I am home alone. As silly as that is.

I moved in with my roommate because he's gay and gays are like the perfect housemates for girls.

HE'S OBSESSED WITH MY LADY PARTS IT'S QUITE DISTURBING.
He doesn't cook, he doesn't clean, he doesn't give me fashion advice, he doesn't bitch...he doesn't live up to the gay man stereotype at all :(

Really living with someone is such a pain :/.. Who will cook. Who will clean the house, Who will do the groceries, Who will do this and that... its so disturbing :/
the best thing to do is get your own place, buy i big-ass fridge and if you feel lonely bring your friends home :) its basically the same thing as living with someone, except you can kick them out whenever you wish
