  1. I heard they were going to give out more Beta keys on the 7th if you sign up for the beta. Hopefully there not full of it as alot of the comments are going how people never recieved a code
  2. I am surprised no topic on this was made (or maybe it's so dead and dust that I can't find it) but yes Hearthstone Edit: I just realized I miss spelled Hearthstone....I don't know how to fix it. QQ What is it? Hearthstone is a Online TCG made by Blizzard. You might have seen the World of Warcraft card game at your local comic and card shop but we all know no one really played it. Everyone just wanted the promo cards. Well now they have started over and made it online. The game is currently in CBT with no NDA so lots of twitch and videos floating around. Also if you know what I am talking about and you have some free friend Beta keys or know where to get some post it out or you know....PM me one because I am having no luck finding one. You can buy packs in the store but you can also earn them in game with in game gold. and every card but 1 card is obtainable in game (And that 1 P2W card isn't that great so no people will not be owning you with that 1 card) How it is played? You start by choosing 1 of the 9 class champions (Thrall is Shamen, Garrosh is Warrior ect) and then build a deck based around what you want. Every class has class spasific cards that can help bend your deck to what you want like Warlocks have access to Summon Portal card so they can throw out creatures for less mana if they can keep it on the field. Every Champion also has a hero spell. Although unaffected by cards on the field they can help in situations like Garrosh can spend mana to add armor to himself to absorb damage. You start with 1 deck based on the class you choose but you can make others with the other classes as you get gold to buy packs. When you are ready to search for a opponent and LET THE BATTLE BEGIN! The Game starts with a coin flip. First player draws a extra card and the Second player gets a card called The Coin which you can spend on 1 extra mana for 1 turn. Every turn the players get 1 mana crystal to spend on summoning creatures up to 10. The game ends when one player drops from 30 HP to 0. Here is a video of 2 the cynical brit playing a game.
  3. I expected as much. And going back to base class is a good idea. I know a couple classes that got some neat offence defense stuff that would work with other classes. I think the 1 thing SE did not see coming was the fact the market unless there is a fluctuating amount of new players is the market will eventually stagnate because everyone can be everything. Although it might take awhile it is a inevitable truth.
  4. They actually released PVP? I can't imagine some of the teams that could be made. Can you sprint in PvP? because everyone who uses mana instead of AP is at a REAL advantage if DMR sets in and you cant slow them. I wonder how a summoner would fair.....I might have to come back to find out. Oh is it also true that you need to be filthy rich to own housing?
  5. Isn't this made by some of the people who did Terraria? Anyways the game is more difficult then it seems. I have died so many times already it's hard to keep my pixals up. Also how many worlds are there? Because if I strip 1 world of all its resources and move to the next can I eventually run out of places?
  6. aaaaa my god I just found a snow area....I love snow areas...why can't there be a snow city....I would make my house there in a heart beat
  7. Be happy after Titan I have made little progress on my story. I feel like I have almost come to a stand still because they keep taking me to low level areas i my story so I have no quests I can do. I will have to find something that tells me what area has my level quests.
  8. Ugh I don't get it....Pugilist eludes me for some reason. Lancer I have no problem with but for some reason it just seems like I am not doing well with Pugilist. I feel like Featherfoot should be on a much shorter CD. Long enough where you can't spam it but short enough where should be able to use it maybe every other fight. Oh and housing better not be FC only. Update: AWWWWW YA I got the best looking robe in the game. The Battlemages robe
  9. Thanks I wouldn't have though of that
  10. How i just found Cid and need to find his airship. Where do I go to find it?
  11. I think FF14 NA/EU servers just died.
  12. That is what I got from it more from the no synergy with skills (what does that exactly mean anyways). And the slow combat...I mean I can she why people wouldn't like it but to me i just see it as a different experience and how the gane isn't "built" for PvP dosen't mean it can't be made to PvP
  13. Why do people think PvP need to be balanced to be good. PvP will never in no way be balanced ever. What makes PvP good is strategy and counter strategy. You need to have Overpowered classes and Classes that can Counter it that are also Overpowered and have a recurring trend. PvP needs variety with it's classes and builds but if one class/build can outclass any class and has no real weakness or a situational weakness you can't exploit alone or without using something not common it breaks the game Examples in MMO's and other games World of Warcraft. Rogues are considered OP because of Stealth and Stun locks out the wazo and the fact they can take out a cloth wearer in a instant if not prepared. Counter: Hunters, AoE, Armor. If you break the Rogue out of Stealth or if he even tries to take out anyone with mail+ that rogue is wasting his time. Now let's look at the Death Knight. He right now is considered broken in the fact. It is pretty unlikely a Blood DK will win in a straight up fight with any Melee class. Blood Death Knight hit hard and the worst of it is that they have a attack called Death Strike. This attack will Heal the DK the more Diseases he puts on you and can recover almost ALL OF HIS HEALTH IN 1 STRIKE. He has moves to deal with ranged and caster but nothing reliable that anyone can use. Guild Wars 2: This game is PvP done well and not so well at the same time. Everyone on a basic scale with skill can 1v1 and anything can happen. You have a good verity of builds you can use on the different classes and even some racials that can help in situations. But what happens when you stick a 5v5 into the mix? 9-10 times I have seen this it was a battle of pokes. Melee switch to guns an wands and it was like a magical line of who wants to to be the badass who crosses that line and prolly dies first. The Thieves in this game are no OP. If they were any squishier you could call them bubble men. The thing is that And I analogize to any person heat i may generate while I say this but they should have went with the WoW style stealth system. In so many battles have I seen a Thief dance around 10-15 people who are shooting AoE and just swinging swords get taken out by 1-2 thiefs is just staggering. If 1 hit activated the Spotted Debuff then i would have no problem but the fact that you can not tell if you are hitting anything or they decided to bounce away makes it more of a guessing game then a mind game. These are but a few examples. If you want to see Overpower/Counter power incarnate watch DOTA 2 Some of the most "OP" BS you will ever see but if you have a person or that item that can make the counter/difference you got a very interesting game. Now I am going to shut up now and I know alot of you are going to read this and go "But what does this have to do with Final Fantasy?" I am telling you if the PvP is broken DON'T COMPLAIN, ADAPT, SURVIVE. Now if there are Blood Death Knights running around then you have reasons to complain but don't knock it until you try it. and Tashigi If you get this far watch Tribes Ascend. That game is Skiing incarnate
  14. Whats wrong with PvP in Final Fantasy? If anything its just going to be like WoW. Healers on tanks DPS being useless there yelled at and alot of trash talk. And just like awake said. If it sucks then I will jsut have to deal with it and make due with PvE and leveling or just disband and join a sprawling PvE guild
  15. I will try. The way I see it everyone is just going around FC's and the balance of power is very thin between all the FC's I see very few recruitment in city's and even in world in general. When good FC's become more prominent in there field and the lesser FC's start to disband would be a good time to try and strike big. Also when PvP is implemented there are going to be a influx of people who are going to want like minded people to play with and group. I will start as a leveling guild but build into a PvP guild just like my old Legion of Doom
