  1. I believe that is due to exp fatigue. I'm not sure how it works in the chinese version, but basicly you've been playing the game way too much in a single sitting, and most asian MMORPGs are regulated to have a system that stops players from excesive amount of consecutive game time.
  2. Doest thou even knoweth the meaning of this 'sugoi', may I ask, old bean? yuuki
  3. Wait what do you mean the scroll? I thought you were talking about the hat piece (that undead talisman). Unless you're talking about the full outfit then I understand. It might be because my Chinese friend has filled me with this pre-disposition for conspiritual thoughts, but it FEELS like the CN's RnG for that wheel is a lot rarer than the KN version, but lol that might just be me lol. yuuki
  4. It would'nt be an MMO without hardcore grinding now would it? lol jks. In all serioussness though I didn't bother on this version because I never really liked it as much as the ones you get later in the game so... The only real upside to getting it is a fancy glowy effect from wearing the matching bo-pae.
  5. It's really early in the game dude, the game is pretty much linear. Basicly when you get to a dark grave-esq area, with the black and red world boss. Upon killing the world boss you'll get gems that you can despense into two spinning wheels in the encampment where all the quests are for that area, and you'll roll either 3. 5 or 8 Bo-pae (stat armor) pieces, the head dobock (outfit) for that area, the dubock itself or a fancy weapon piece. To answer both questions, the best you can do is pretty much sell the weapons/armor that you can't use. Because of the CN version's restrictions, selling items you can't use or don't need it the only viable option really. The weapon box randomly allocates a weapon of every class. Just keep opening them until you get your class' weapon as you should be fine. You'll probebly need to grind the boss a bit if you want to get the full matching set, but it's worth it as it keeps you geared for a good 5 levels without having to worry about upgrading or fusing your Bo-Pae and weapons. I'm bad at being consice... yuuki
  6. I sort of feel the same, what with having no one consisten to play without having toexert the energy required to articulate korean, but there isnt really much to be done about it. It's perfectly possible for people here to play it, but subscription costs along with other costs such as buying a legit account and paying to keep it legit (if you're not able to make your own account) does stack up to most people. yuuki
  7. I might also also add that if you want to be nitty, there are some in-game quest gameplay changes between the too, less loading screens in the KN version (for what reason I don't know) and some of the armor along with boob jiggles has been censored due to Chinese law. yuuki
  8. I for one have an active account for both and play both regularly, and the reason is quite simple. To play the KN BnS you need to not only pay time card based subscription, but you also need a Korean Social Security Number/Authentic Korean Citizen Identification in order to create a valid account. So for non Korean players this is either very expensive, impossible or just difficult. CN BnS can be played with an account from anywhere in the world with no restrictions, and is a different model though, as it is completely free to play with payed restrictions on shit like your Inventory and buffs and such, because Tencent are like that. I for one much higly prefer the Korean version of the game, but that's because I can afford it. I hope this helps. yuuki
  9. Welcome to the Dojo! I hope that you can meet new people and enjoy your stay here. yuuki
  10. I would attempt to assist but your image is broken to me. sorry. yuuki
  11. I would honestly defent Team Bloodlust here in that in order to render consistent collision or atleast simulated collusion between character physics with the environment would be extremelly costly, and considering how open this game is, nigh impossible to run on a good game code. Be it a single player game with smaller game spaces maybe, but this shit isnt easy to do on some game engines I'm afraid. yuuki P.S also considering the effects further, even if it would be possible to render the collision on just one FM, consider that there might be anywhere from 1 to an infinite number of FM's on screen all at once, and physics collision is not something you can just 'turn off' as an option. Thusly this would make medium to low end PCs be unable to run the game effectively, which for a publicly AAA developed game would quickly yield negative results in terms of player base, because MMOs need to be heavily optimized.
  12. Friends are mainstream....

    Lets be aquaintences instead...

  13. Heheh I apologise for making you rant. I was mostly just joking because a lot of people say that, and I find it amusing to be honest. Don't worry I sort of mentioned the IMs on reaction. The forums would probebly be better either way, I agree. Honestly, when I tell someone I respect or mutually have feelings for that they're interesting, and they say 'i'm not interesting', something I often say that perhaps it does not matter if they are interesting or not, but that I feel that they are 'significant' in my life, or my perception. That usually shuts them up about it hahah. Human opinion and self-esteem is an ambiguity of life I feel. I agree with what you mean though. There I times where I just feel relaxed, and stop off by a favourite cafe of mine. I'll walk in, and enjoy the atmosphere and ambience. Then i'll put my headphones on and put on some louge or Jazz, and suddenly instead of coming from the headphones, the music simply becomes one with the noises around me. Some music just fits. I suppose i'm also interested with how these perceptions effect levels of distraction and cognitive performance. There's a lot of research into the effects of different tkinds of music on how well we are able to do math or do reading tasks etc, and I was thinking that maybe these effects are also altered by these environmental ques. like, perhaps playing a piece of music that has seen as reducing cognitive performance, played in a certain environment, has a reverse or lesser effect compared to other music. Shit like that interests me right now.
  14. Surely if you throw your arms in the air like you just don't care you should just not throw your arms in the air because you, y'know... don't really care? <:3c yuuki
  15. If we're talking 'specializing' in terms of my education, I'm currently doing a course that focuses on research, as my primary aspiration in life is to become a researcher in psychology. If we're talking 'specializing' in terms of personal interest then I first have to say that my original, inspiration in psychology, before coming to uni, was memory, long term memory and false/recovered-memory etc. However since coming to University i've obviously been exposed to a lot more topics and subjects that I might not have considered within my interest. Currently I am mulling around this idea of psychology and ambience, attention and preferences. It's a little something I havent really read much about, but is an idea in my head of what I think would be interesting to me. I'm a very romantic person, this combined with my obsession over musical ambience in certain environments for abstract stimulation (Such as listening to Jazz or Progressive House in a cafe, or listening to ambient music in libraries or cities, traditional asian music in country-side etc), I'm sort of interested in how different kinds of music effect people's percpetion or preferences in or of certain different environments. I'm not even going to proof read that paragraph and hope it makes sense because I just sort of blurted my brain onto my keyboard whilst trying to say that. I hope that answers your question or something.. If you want to talk more about it you can add me on Skype or QQ or something. I'm open for interesting conversation with interesting people. Before you say you're not interesting, I digress, but you're here, that makes you interesting. yuuki <3
