  1. They're all really good, but I think the Lyn is definitely my favorite. It's very fun, playful, and curious sounding. You can just see their ears flicking - it's really cute just like the race lol
  2. same. I wasn't' planning on being a Lyn, but...idk the cats are painfully cute. I don't know if I can resist.
  3. I'm so pleased about the attention to customization. literally, that's what i've been looking for in a mmo game. No lie. and I'm so excited about this. I'll probably spend all of my time collecting outfits lol
  4. Going to school lol I found that by focusing entirely on school I forgot all about it until now - and look what happened! It's already been released in Korea! lol
  5. HAIL, stranger

    how are you?

  6. Like, when you're making your character(s) for B&S, do you make it to personify yourself? Do you make a story for them, or do you just simply make your character? Do you create more than one? sorry if the question is hard to understand or repetitive. English is failing me today lol :brick: But for myself, I usually just make my character as an extension of me -- I don't make them look like me, I just sort of create them in a general sense -- since I will speak through them with my own personality, I don't usually make them into a particular sort of character or anything. I make them how I would probably look if I lived in this sort of world. I think for B&S, though, I want to make a male alt of some sort, maybe a Jin or a Lyn male, and that one will be more like a doll or something with its own personality....If I remember to play him. I hate grinding for two characters :ouch:
  7. CPU: Intel® Core i5-2410 Processor (CPU @ 2.30 GHz) RAM: 4 GB VGA: Intel HD Graphics Family (wat -- I don't think that's correct)...the website says "Intel® HD Graphics 3000" OS: 64-bit Windows 7 Home Premium I saw what has been said about other i5s but whenever someone else mentions one, it's always just a little different than mine...And I don't know if it matters, but I started a free trial on Aion, just to see how my laptop would handle the game, and it was fairly quiet the whole time. I'm not sure how high the settings were, but they looked to be at least medium. I don't know what that means in comparison to B&S though...Computer specs are like a foreign language to me.
  8. wow, I think I would create a male just to wear that outfit. It's so awesome.
  9. she watches it on and off. She also said she used to be a part of the dojo, but she actually plays some other MMOs to pass the time, I believe, which is good :) It's always nice to have a distraction. Especially if you're impatient, like myself. But I keep myself pretty calm about waiting because I'd prefer that b&s takes a while and is awesome whenever it comes out than be rushed and flop because it's unfinished.
  10. I agree with what people above have said. Obviously, I think it's being misinterpreted -- i worry people are putting emotion too much into this, feeling like someone is telling them what they should and should not do, but I don't think it's like that at all. I play through my character, and I know that when I speak to someone who is female, I assume they're female, and that's how I play. I choose female because I am and I want it to be readily observed. I don't roleplay with it though which is probably why the "males should be males" kind of thing annoys some people, I suppose. If you role play and such, or play a story, it probably feels different.
  11. Actually, the later to find out (before it's released, of course), the better, right? So then the wait doesn't feel so long! Or at least that was my philosophy lol. My friend said she's known about this for years. Wait must have been near unbearable D:
  12. Ah~ all this talk about outfits. This is wondrous ~ And I don't like someone changing to please someone else as much as the next person, but I do agree that the males were a little boring for my taste :I I mean, you have gorgeous females with all of these unique differences and then you have males that are just sort of...blah. They weren't bad, but I do think that in comparison to the females they lack a certain...something. Maybe they need facial expressions...They all just looked so serious, like robots -- or maybe that's just the ones I saw. A lot of people will choose the standard faces for males, I think, because on a young body, a face with many scars and lines looks awkward, but a face with no personality is just boring. SO people choose females, who, while their faces don't really have a lot of distinction, their bodies do, so there is their personality right there already. So maybe males do need a little bit of adjustment. Not to be stereotypical, but they did bring up a good point -- maybe a female artist should be brought in for help with the males...or just someone who likes males. A sex often picks out certain appealing details of the sex that they're attracted to. Maybe that could help a little. And I know what they mean by "a male should play males". It's not to say that a guy can't play a woman, but the fact that a lot of people, male and female, don't want to play guys at all :| or at least a large number. And one would assume a guy would want to personify himself in a character, or at least make a guy alt at some point, and the fact that even guys don't want to play guys is...probably not so good from a game company's standpoint.
  13. I also really hope the gunner class can be used with Gon...that's probably the only reason I hope they remove the race restrictions. Gunner class would probably be my second choice.
  14. Honestly, when it said that, I thought the music class would be hitting people with instruments xD Which is still pretty cool, IMO, but i'm a destroyer at heart so hitting people with large melee weapons always sounds fun to me. but, yes, hopefully there will be something actually music related involved, as well
  15. I like everything I'm seeing, though, in addition to that. I really appreciate all the work being put in to make this game better than all of the others. And mentioning the race-restrictions, I think it would definitely be cool if they made separate animations for each race. That way we're not all the same, but everyone has equal opportunities!
