  1. I just prefer the system Everquest, Dark Age of Camelot, and FFXI used. In trouble? /scream or /help Unlocks the monster for anyone to kill but you receive no exp for it. Always useful in saving people from death.
  2. Couldn't have said it better.
  3. I agree with the idea that store bought mats could be non-trade while those found off of enemies/in-game are tradeable/sellable. That being said, I am trying to understand and comprehend how buying PvE related items such as weapon materials, healing potions, party/self-revive items somehow makes the game Pay2Win? I don't get it. Why would you be upset that another player (paying or free) in their daily grind: Has a better weapon than you Is a higher level than you Owns more potions than you Gets a % exp boost (5-10%) They are playing against the game, not against you (PvP which will be equalized anyway). Killing that random mob creature halfway across the world or being 10 levels higher than you does not somehow make the game pay 2 win. We are all going to get to the end state sooner or later so why should you care if someone pays $150 to buy enough materials to upgrade their weapon or slowly grinds it out over the course of 2 weeks. Besides, if you truly enjoy the game and want to get your time's worth out of it than you really shouldn't have a problem with people paying money for those materials anyway. You will take your time, enjoy the scenery, grind, explore, etc and they can throw inordinate amounts of cash at NCSoft. Either way both parties get what they want. To me it sounds like the only valid complaint that can come from this is IF (keyword) those store bought items are market-tradeable. But even then there are counter-arguments to that line of thought as well.
  4. Very subtle costume design motifs to be in the shape of wings, horns, scales, etc are okay but yeah I for one don't care for the full-blown thing.
  5. Yeah lets not go for RNG boxes if we can help it.
  6. Alot of these posted here are very well known series due to their manga being much more popular than their anime counterparts.
  7. I miss this pose. I actually liked it a lot despite never playing as Assassin. Always thought it fit the class. FM not so much.
  8. Truth be told I see a lot more anime names than video game names now. Back in the early days of what would become "modern" MMOs (UO, Everquest, Dark Age of Camelot) you saw a lot more CloudxSephy4evar characters but nowadays not so much. It's all about the Kirito-clone27 is the character uses swords or PinkMagicShoujoGirlLover if they use a wand. That's why I am naming my first male character Bobashushu. No one ever uses that name! ORIGINAL NAME DO NOT STEAL GUYS!
  9. I for one like everything offered there including the x30 daily rewards and revive stones. Everything seems good to me.
  10. While this certainly won't apply to all PvE players I would speculate a good majority of PvE players are just there for PvE.
  11. So far that is what the general consensus is but in terms of buying the equipment used to quickly evolve the weapon there is no information.
  12. I'm going to buy 12 character slots and name all my characters Players 1-12. Hah!
  13. Funny enough what got me into B&S was way back in the 2009 G-star trailer when the blademaster and kung-fu master were fighting each other with no UI, really small damage counters, and just beating the living heck out of each other.
  14. Looks like a fun game. Might give it a shot. I hear the latency is absolutely terrible though even with VPNs. and boosters.
  15. What could make me quit B&S? Simple. It's called life. Things change, you meet new people, fall in love, have kids, get a new job, move somewhere else. The possibilities are endless. In terms of what I am seeing in this thread a good majority of them can simply be averted by having a responsible, mature, and forthcoming B&S community. Use your voice, in polite and respectful terms to give thoughtful and constructive feedback without resorting to name calling or ad hominem. Remember that our localization group is only just that. Any core changes to game-play, story, lore, battle-system, etc has to go through the original developers in Korea first. It will be our job to organize the changes we need in order to make our version the BEST version of B&S by maintaining neutral thoughts and giving objective based feedback to our community managers and producers so that they can clearly formulate a plan for the NA/EU servers. Until that entire regime falls apart, or life gets in the way first I don't foresee any reason why you need to stop playing unless you choose to.
