  1. Hey there, welcome to club KFM! So to answer your questions, there's generally two main types of defensive skills in this game. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. There's pure defense and there's offensive-defense skills. Examples of the latter would be KFM's Counter, Destroyer's/Blade Dancer's Hurricane (the spin) and etc. Pure defense abilities are more akin to a Force Master's Ice Prison, or a Blade Dancer's Guardian Tempest (The swords circling around them that makes them immune to cc). When a skill says "Disables Defense", that means it disables those offensive-defensive skills. For Flying Slam, all positive effects apply to you, and negative ones to the enemy you hit. Lets say I see a Destroyer spinning that's not giving me a lot of opening to Smite or Tiger Leap. In that situation, Flying Slam will ignore all defensive abilities only and hurt the target. It can still be dodged by movement abilities like a KFM Q/E or resistance to damage/status. Movement skills are skills that basically move your character in any way or form. Like KFM Flurry, Avenging Fist, Guiding Fist, and Flying Slam. As for slip kick, when an opponent grabs you and when you grapple someone, there's two courses of actions you can do. The first is to do normal attacks and the second is a set of special moves available only when grabbing an opponent. These skills usually have tells or will reset the timer of the duration of the grab to indicate a main skill is being used. Slip kick works in that you have to time it just as you see the skill animation begin or the timer just reset depending on the skill. It's a move that takes a lot of practice and every class has a form of it. At higher tiers of PvP, no one's going to let you get away with a Pummel or etc when you grapple them. I'm actually not sure about the counter, I'm assuming it's the damage being done to you? Since it tends to heal a good chunk something. So "Pierce Defensive Skills" means any offensive-defense skill. Pierce parry (or deflect) is a mechanic you'll encounter on things like Destroyer and Dancer spins. They can spec the first .5 seconds of the spin to deflect any attack that connects with it. There are abilities that ignore this mechanic like our Tiger's Pounce. I'm not quite sure what a deep wound is, I assume it's a PvE thing. Dazes can be escaped with your F retreat key or your Tab escape. Stuns can only be escaped using your tab escape. KFMs actually have an easier time vs Force Masters and Summoners than other classes. There's great streamers like AALaguna and Jaesung that have a bunch of KFM content.
  2. This sounds like a problem on your end as I experience actions on key press, not key release.
  3. Server under maintenance right now?

Never mind, strange issue on my end it seems.

  4. 6 hours on the chara creator. Still not done.

I really do hope at some point Team BL adds in Color streaking options, that would be nice.! :)

I've only recently perfected the Lyn I've been editing and editing since the beginning of CN days 2 years ago. You learn to love it XD

  5. This is a very unfair and bad idea that could lead to a possible divide in the community. Let's not go down this path or anywhere near it.
  6. I'm sure best way doesn't mean the only way. Hopefully there's alternatives for the PvE players to acquire it. Mayhap someone knowledgeable in games' endgame in other regions can comment on the matter.
  7. Fairly certain they are not using the auto archive function as I've been refreshing twitch ever since it ended. We'll have to most likely wait for a possible youtube video as kyo said.
  8. Updated OP with social media links and a link to the thread by Killzone. Will include a link to a VOD of the stream when released.
  9. I'm sure they're still preparing many aspects for the game's launch. The CBT (and possible OBT?) will be to measure reception of in-game systems/features and stress test the servers among other things. This gives the team ample time to tweak or change anything based on user feedback for a polished product at launch.
  10. Updated OP with a timer for tomorrow's presentation. What's everyone excited about seeing? I'm itching for PvP info personally.
  11. Updated OP concerning Sherlock's new thread. Senior Community Manager SherlockHulmes is taking questions in this thread for tomorrow's livestream event. Head on over!
  12. Mostly concerned about how the Free to Play aspect of this title will be handled in the west. Are there any changes being made to PvP, or will we see a similar nature to other Blade and Soul clients?
  13. I very highly doubt it'll be a 2016 release. That would be too late, especially with monsters like Black Desert on the horizon. Most write-ups seem to point towards a Q4 release this year.
  14. It's been quite a long climb. I don't think I would have this kind of patience for any other game, something about B&S just appeals a lot to me.
  15. Hopefully most of these questions will be answered in some form tomorrow in the livestream.
