  1. Screw Wildstar!

do NOT play Tera LOL! I think Wildstar is pretty fun considering the fact that it actually functioned and wasn't a buggy pile of shit when it launched. Which is probably a world first. Ever. Sad The games doing really well and is bringing more people back to the MMO scene in a good way (I guess thats unfortunate for this community? :p) I'm not going to wish Wildstar fails (or any game) just because It may have postponed or canceled another game that I wanted to see first. When games fail they have a negative effect in the gaming scene, not a positive one. Hell if Wildstar remains successful, that will only motivate NCsoft to push a BnS release next considering that the NA/EU market actually liked one of their fucking games....
  2. What To Play ;_;

You out of luck. I had tried literally EVERY mmo. This genre is really poop, probably the worst gaming genre out right now unfortunately. BnS is the ONLY that, at it's core, TRIED to do something more impressive and innovative. The combat looks like something out of DBZ or Naruto Shippuden like: (skip to 2:25) WTF??? I WANNA PLAY THIS LOOKS CRAZzZzY!!! but nope.... NcSoft thinks its professional to flip the bird at an entire continent of potential costumers.. BTW this game is NOT coming to the west you people may as well forget it... Out of all the games I have played, here are the mmo's that managed to hold my attention longer than 4 weeks... Maplestory- My first mmo, played for over a year, got to level 165, then it went to shit. #Nexon Dragonnest- Man I still love this game. Played for over 2 years, then it went pay2win, then it went to shit. #Nexon TERA- By far one of my favorites, played for 1.5 years. Then it got nerfed 47 times. Then it went to shit. #ELINrising Vindictus- Played for about 10 months after DN, Then I realized its Pay2Win....then it went to shit. #Nexon RaiderZ- Played for 2 months. It was just shit. #PWEruinseverything Here are the rest I can remember that couldn't last a damn month: WoW- ......FFSFTS already... Aion- PVP. counter intuitive controls....went to shit. Ragnorok online 2- Played for 9 minutes according to steam. SHIT. Neverwinter- DnD, not my syle. C9- Boring. FFXIV- Tab Target to the core. Not a fan of tab target. Aura Kingdom- Junk. #Aeriasucks Grand Fantasia- Junk #Aeriasucks Shayia- Junk #Aeriasucks GW2- wtf is this??? This isn't even a MMORPG... Dragon's Prophet- junk. Age of Wushu - Pretty good Eden Eternal- meh... #Aeriasucks Scarlet Blade- . . . . . . . . . Are you f*cking serious? WIldstar- just a refined version of WoW. Good, but Yawn... ESO- Alright I guess....... BnS- I hate China. PSO2- Japan. grindfest. #FckSega Lineage 2- Didn't peak my interest much. Eva - Not my type Rift - Meh SWTOR- Junk. DC Universe- Not a DC fan, pretty cool though. Man the rest not even worth mentioning or I didn't play it at all. Those are all the MMO's. There are shooters too but thats a whole new list and Im sure you don't care about that. Give up on this genre and come back in 7 years. I'm playing Battlefield 4 right now. Thats the only FPS worth anything right now and the only game that is fun for me besides SMITE. Sorry for the heavy use of the word "Shit", but honestly, that is the best word to realistically describe these games in a nutshell Im just being real....
  3. So How Is The Game Coming Along?

So how is the Chinese version of this game coming along? The last time I played was way back sometime during the OBT and was just wondering if everything is going smoothly. Is the game optimized? how good/bad is the F2P model? how large is the player base? etc. I may pick this game up again if there is a solid English community and maybe even a English patch....that and I've been looking for another pretty game to break with my new OC GTX 780 ti and OC i5 4670k :) This game is perfect considering that its one of my favorite Asian games of all time and I never got a chance to run it at 1080p Ultra 120+fps. Seems like NCsoft seriously just don't give a f*ck about you guys considering they haven't released not ONE official statement for the development of NA BnS in over 500 days....wow. I didn't think they would actually ignore a fanbase that long :b
  4. -RANT- ok FUCK square enix! I tried to download ffxiv and it took me over an hour to figure out how to use their fucking website, like WTF is that shit so complicated for??? I dont even want to buy their shitty game anymore...

    1. Aari

Life must be really hard for you :(

    2. Yinfang

I mean no offense, but whenever you feel very frustrated over something, it's best not to post a status in public about it. Go to a friend, or make a private conversation. As someone who has been in the industry. Web designers focus very much on ease-of-access, and if you are having troubles you can simply ask in their help-specific forum or go to their "Contact Us" area.

  5. I am aware of that. But that doesn't mean I should like it. It still is what it is. I got a problem with playing games from China because they are too controlling for a western gamer like myself. I know it sucks, but thats just how life is I guess... Just remember I don''t have a problem with the game itself, just the direction it took in China, more on the business side.
  6. Jesus christ people the Tera thing is just an exaggeration, its not THAT bad (obviously). But compared to the Korean version, the poor optimization is unacceptable. The way companies HANDLE free2play nowadays is absolute bullsh*t. Point blank Period. End of discussion. I can go further in depth and type a wall of text on all the facts/reasons why Free2Play is generally the WORST business model for both the business and the consumer, especially when the company doesn't know how to handle it (which are the majority of companies). However, I'm not the type to hurt ones feelings by attacking their beliefs, so I won't go that far and become a straight douchebag. Fatigue puts restrictions on you, They tell you what to do, how to do it, how long to do it and what to play. They act like they are giving you options with VIP and Fatigue, but they are not, they are taking them away and fooling you. YOU as a GAMER are seriously going to just accept that?? Me, no way. Not happening again. Ever. Don't accept less because they give you less. I cant talk to people, and I am not going to buy Rosetta Stone to learn Chinese just for a game. Not being able to communicate with the general player base in a MASSIVE game based on social communication doesn't add any value at all from a GAMING perspective. censoring is annoying AF, especially if its on a rated M game (like how dafuq that makes any sense??) but at the same time I do understand why they did it. Like i said before, this reason is just a "me b*tching" moment, and ultimately just ignore this point its not that serious. Oh and I live literally halfway across the world (12 time zones) away from the servers so I get the worst ping out of everyone else in the world. With my wired 80mb internet speed and boosters the lowest ping I ever saw was 230ms, ever. Nothing can be done about that, so I didn't add that reason because it would be too hypocritical I guess... Also, I am out of the "OMFG I CAN FINALLY PLAY BNS" stage, because I actually played for quite some time, so I won't ignore any personal or factual issues with the game and just except it because I am in love with it. ^Thats pretty much a more raw, in depth version of what I was trying to get across. I'm an adult semi-hardcore MMO gamer, and my perspective of gaming is from a standpoint of value, rationing, money, and personal opinion/preference of course. Younger people may not quite get the message behind my original post, for they are just happy to finally get a crack at BnS, others may simply just have different values than me. Just typed this as a closing statement for this threat before I leave it. Thanks for the discussions n and no offense to anyone.
  7. I think you weren't getting my points. I was mostly pointing out conceptual issues I had with the direction of the game, not fact based ones about the actual game. As I said before I am a huge fan and spent quite a respectable amount of time on the Korean servers, so I'm well aware of what this game can offer. The only problem I had with the Korean version was the Language barrier and lag, which isn't a big deal and it can't be helped.
  8. I know some will agree and some will disagree, thats to be expected. There is no real rhyme or reason for posting this, Its just me venting is all, or I guess you can say its kinda like a first impression review I guess. After reading this I'm pretty sure that some of you were able to figure out that I don't like Microsoft's Xbox One lol Well anyways, There were many other small contributing factors that turned me away that i didn't list, for example: I live on the east coast of the U.S, literally all the way across the world from the game servers so I get the absolute worse ping out of everyone because of my location...Nothing can be done about that unfortunately -_-. I need to sleep now. Constructive Criticisms are appreciated!
  9. The following are things I don't like about the Chinese version of B&S. Reason 1 being the most significant influence and 5 Being the least significant influence. These are not exactly real issues with the game, just things that am not cool with at all. To start off I want to say I've been a fan of this game for about 2 years and I am a semi-hardcore MMO gamer. I feel that every opinion is important and should be expressed, who knows who or what you can influence by simply speaking your mind. plus I need to vent too lol. This is all about ME! Well, lets get started! Reason 1: Fatigue System. After playing China Dragon Nest, I absolutely REFUSE to play another one of these games that hinders my gaming experience with fatigue. I absolutely Hate this system, and it is the Number One thing thats pushing me away from this game. I play games at my own paste. Simple as that. Reason 2: Free to Play Free2Play has destroyed many great games. It is the number one contributer that has ruined the gaming industry's legitimacy and integrity. It is the worse business model for the simple fact that most companies that use it turn their game into another---> " You want to win? You want to have fun and look cool? THEN GIVE US A RIDICULOUS SUM OF MONEY GODDAMMIT!" Only games that haven't been completely submerged into the sea of despair known as the F2P Graveyard are Tera Rising (which is steadily going downhill, which is to be expected) and some shooters like Planetside 2 or Warframe (which isn't even a mmorpg for Christ sake...) I know many people prefer f2p, and its the better payment option for them. thats perfectly fine, enjoy and support what works for you. I however, do not support F2P at all in most cases. Personally I prefer the P2P option for Most AAA/high quality MMO's and B2P for pretty much everything else, Because I can, and am willing to support a P2P/B2P game I like. Reason 3: VIP This is another bad side effect that comes off of F2P games. VIP specifically seems to be popular in Aisan games. As soon as I logged into the game and saw people running around with gold plated names, I already knew what was going on there, and I want no part of it again. Im not going to go into detail for TLDR reasons (which is already too long :p), all that is important is that I don't like the VIP system because it ties back into the issues with reasons 1 and 2. I't can be an unfair, unnecessary, and irrational addition in the long run. Reason 4: Language Barrier Kinda self explanatory. I have experience playing foreign games and let me tell you, it is not the same when you can't communicate at all to 97% of the playerbase lol. Many people can endure it and strive to make English communities which is perfectly fine. But not being able to chat with most players definitely doesn't add any value to the game for me, it will only lead to frustration for both players. This one is more of a personal preference than an issue with the game itself. Reason 5: Bad Optimization No full Screen? like seriously? That alone honestly just pisses me off. I played the Korean version and ran the game easily at ultra settings, but I can barely get by on medium in this version. It is unacceptable. Even TERA is better optimized, and damn, that game is not well optimized :D Extra complaints: Reason 6: Very far behind in content. Compared to KB&S, its ridiculous. However it's still in beta and will most likely catch up to a reasonable point, so I'm not gonna stress too much on this. Reason 7: Censoring. I completely understand that they had to censor the game because of Chinese Law, But Jesus Christ its a RATED M GAME! I just don't understand why companies censor games that are meant for mature audiences. just...Ugh! That shit makes no sense. This one is all just a one-sided opinion and me b*tching, so take it with a grain of salt, I just don't want them to censor the game -_- These are the reasons I've decided to stay away from this game. I'm not saying that anyone who wants to try BnS won't enjoy it, This is just all a one sided opinion. Also I've already played the Korean version and got a char to level cap, so I already got my fair share out of the game. If you are thinking about playing the Chinese version of this game, then by all means go for it, and have a blast! The only reason I decided to post this was to leave some constructive criticism on the state of the game. That's all I've got guys, I will continue to wait and hope for a NA/EU release, and even if it goes a similar route as this version, the English playerbase, UI, and dubs will make it allot more bearable for me to play. I may even reconsider giving the Chinese version another go if they improve in a few categories, which I'm sure they will. It is important to understand that I by no means hate this game, I am a HUGE fan. I just don't like the direction the Chinese version has taken.
  10. if I don't see a NA or EU version of this game announced as SOON as the china version go full release....

Wait, wait, wait hold on a second. What do you mean with "If there's no news by March we won't see this game in NA/EU." Does that mean if there's no Update on B&S until March we could assume that the release in NA/EU has been dropped ???

    3. BirdOfHermes

      Yes that's what he meant.

Normally when a game is announce to be release, there is first several month PR and stuff, then a test, closed beta for a certain audience and this mostly takes a lot of time, but no 100% guaranty.

    4. xDraGoon

So there could be news regarding the release in NA/EU or even a Beta by March ?

And if not then it's probably has been dropped.

  11. What server are most english players playing on for the OB?

  12. Well I'm not doing anything but sitting on my ass right now, so can someone direct me to a guide on how to install/play the OBT?

  13. well, got the flu.....FUCK!

    1. TeddyBear

that is very unfortunate, hope you get well quick :(

  14. Is the Chinese beta, you know, good? is it worth the hassle of downloading and learning all of that chinese UI and shet?

they also covered up much of the skin on armors.

    3. Ayame

Censorship and breast physics removal are invalid arguments. Since they can easily be reverted, using the uncensored patch.

With the Chinese UI, it shouldn't be too much of an issue. As there's an English patch thanks to Loki. However, don't expect too much, it's better then nothing so be grateful.

    4. Lithia

Provided you download the necessary tools the game can be pretty enjoyable. I'm having a better time than I thought I'd have, despite the language-barrier.

It helps immensely if you have some friends, though, so you can get some help and you won't feel so alone :3

  15. Bored? check this out its funny as HELL!
