  1. Even though the PvP in this game is amazing it is primarily a PvE game.
  2. There used to be a time when Assassin was not group friendly at all and sometimes got kicked out of end-game groups. They had no support skills, few AOEs, stealth greatly reduced threat, medium-high damage, and were seen as bad luck. Now they are so much better. A healing smoke cloud that also blocks projectiles, group stealth, a repeatable strong AOE skill, and stealth cancels to keep threat. Or spec all DPS and ani cancel to contribute a admirable amount to the groups total damage. Sweet. I loved whenever a KFM in our group did that and gave me 10 or more carefree hits on the target. The whole grappling system is what makes me really appreciate KFMs and Destroyers. Makes those classes feel strong and badass.
  3. I think it is perfect. Everyone should be on equal grounds in PvP. Having to grind PvP gear is bullshit in any game that has it.
  4. 2 hours because grinding is not much fun, but I don't mind it if it leads to cool rewards.
  5. I actually really like that pose. I hope they give us a pose selector to chose the ones we want. Or a way to mod it back in.
  6. Welcome to the dojo.
  7. You will want a BM, KFM, or Destroyer as others have said above. While others classes can kinda tank they cannot do it nearly as well as those three. I can't remember, can KFM still hold bosses on the ground while their team beats on them for a good 4-5 seconds? Or did they change that?
  8. Any P2W elements, lack of immersion, toxic community, repetition (same stuff every day for weeks on end), tedium (grinding for mats), in any significant quantity will erode my enjoyment and cause me to stop playing a game for long time. Only two MMO have sustained my interest for over a year in the past 5 years, and those were Guild Wars 2 and Neverwinter. I played BnS CN for a few months but stopped as the language and ping barrier was too great, but now I am willing to get right back into the thick of it this winter. It shall be my main MMO of 2016 and I really hope it does well.
  9. Awesome. That was a godlike combo he did. Unfortunately that is a real rarity.
  10. Why can't more games just use a Neverwinter/Dark Souls 2 style naming system. You get an invisible personalized account tag on your name so you can have any name you want. Only if you inspect the player do you see the account tag. That is the best naming system I have ever seen. It allows everyone have any name they want. It is a huge quality of life feature. Plus you don't see as many xXCloudStrifeXx running around. I don't like having to stress about reserving character names, logging into a laggy bundle for a second just to make a character really fast to get a name, then log off and wait for things to settle down before I log back on later to delete the character, make a new one, take my time customizing them, and then start playing for real.
  11. I'm sorry. *pat pat* I'll still give you a +rep. Your heart was in the right place, just not at the right time.
  12. Besides. Chi using martial artists in Blade and Soul are superhuman to the point where bullets do not bother them much. Notice how that Gon destroyer in the alpha video was shot dozens of times and still wrecked the shooter. A cutscene in game showed a repeating rifle in the hands of an expert was only a mild annoyance to a blade master. And how in the BnS anime an Assassin was as fast as 3 bullets and didn't consider guns a real threat. Yeah. BnS is all about mystic super martial arts. The only way to justify it here would be to go full Aion silliness and say they are trained in gun kata and fire chi bullets.
  13. Seems fair to me. Two slots is all you need if you already know what classes you are going to play. Enough to create your main and second-in-command. That allows for a lot of unrestricted gameplay for free. If you get a founder pack then you will get more slots right away, along with a lot of other perks. NCSoft is being fair about this. If you want more just buy more and support the game.
  14. Can I join the Thieves Den? If you would have an Assassin such as myself. *bows* Have been on the prowl for a guild now that an NA release has been confirmed for this year. Even though I am busy with college and a part time job I still make time for daily gaming.
  15. Would highly recommend biding your time till NA/EU winter release. And yes Blade and Soul is a great reticle based action MMORPG that fits what you are looking for.
