  1. Name : milkymoon Race/Gender : LynF Request Type : Outfit Base Item : H ongmoon Uniform Target Item : or I don't know their names or exact icons.. & so really I guess I am more asking if these are even possible at the moment. I figure I'd see them around more if they were. I know the first is new to kr so... the second i'm not sure of. If neither are possible, forgive me for wasting your time!
  2. This is actually one of the biggest things holding me back from getting into the game. It just really bothers me that every race has an exclusive class except for the Kun. Hard to get invested in a character when my favorite race is handled poorly. :/ If the next class added were Gon exclusive they might as well just take Kun's out of the game altogether... not that there's time to wait for Kun to get a new class anymore. I never liked BM or FM & was really holding out that, 'of course the next class added to the game will be a Kun exclusive, I mean they're the only one without one, i'll just play that!' -- Only to be let down twice by them adding double exclusives to other races. (I'm in quite a pickle having to choose between two not unique classes I don't want to play simply because that's the race I want to play.)
  3. Back in 2012 I really wanted the game to be B2P.. After this long of a wait, i'm not sure i'd be able to stomach dropping an entrance fee when there are other games I care more about just on the horizon. It's funny to see me defend f2p because generally i'd much rather additionally help support a game by them being b2p... but it is hard for me, personally, to feel like it's deserved this late. I'd worry that It'd just make their audience even smaller than it probably already will be. :s That being said, I'm glad it's f2p so I can at least try it out still. -- & it seems smart for them because once i'm in it might be hard for me to not spend a bit to decorate my cute character...haha. (surely i'm not the only one out there in this boat either) Also, I have to completely agree with jermatoo -- I played tera for months after it first came out p2p & the community was always immature and toxic. I never could stand the global chat. (I think ffxiv might have been slightly better, more elitists than trolls, but saw a fair share of both.. Oh and bots, bots everywhere.)
  4. I come around here lurking still sometimes but I haven't logged in until right now to check when this account was made. haha. A lot of serious responses to this though... i hope we all get to be in the beta~ u v u (I think all years are equally full of toxic accounts)
  5. Blade and Soul's aesthetic really held a lot of power to me. I could have spent months just hanging out and having a nice looking character, even if there wasn't any content -- because that's the type of player I am. Alas, there is bound to be something that can come along to take it's place in my heart though. I'll check back every handful of months and maybe fool around with it in a year or so whenever it comes out just for nostalgia's sake. :')
  6. Not really sure I understand your reasoning. Nothing in my experience would lead me to believe small=ranged, If anything it's fragile=ranged, and the kun can easily be seen as a gentle/fragile race not meant for the front-lines. Also, since you mentioned running, long legs = wider strides, right? As long as we're not talking absurdly long, anatomically speaking, a kun would be able to outrun a lyn. (note I am talking anatomy, using humans as a reference. Someone lyn sized could maybe outrun someone kun sized if the lyn sized person had more stamina or something.) playing FM on kun feels natural because they are the most seemingly elemental-magic inclined race, being one with nature and all. The kun also -need- to have an exclusive class, lacking a male counterpart is really not significant. ------- Back onto the topic, I Imagine we will see more than 8 classes. I think there is hope that someday there will be a ranged male class that is not lyn.
  7. Well it seems NA TERA will become free to play this February. This may give some a chance to accurately compare them and/or give people something to do while we continue waiting for Blade & Soul. :T http://tera.enmasse.com/free
  8. It's the same principle as choosing one of the presets and then altering all of the sliders/options on them -- I don't think this feature is exclusive to uncreative people -- I could easily see this being used to take a model you want to have the same feel / style as and then changing different things to distinguish it as your own. -- Or like Kogane said, Creative people who just love making characters can make characters they never even plan to use and put them out there for others. ^^ I think it's pretty neat!
  9. The only reason a controller would be easier is if you were better at handling a controller than a keyboard+mouse. It seems that most people who play MMO's are pretty used to playing with keyboard and mouse. While the keyboard has support for many different controls, I believe that for some, less is more. I know I for one often hit the wrong keys while playing MMO's, I go for 'F' but hit 'G' -- I pretty much hit the key next to the key I am trying to hit 30% of the time. I'd never hit the wrong button on a controller, there is absolutely no confusing them -- for me anyway. [ps. in tera I believe the way they had it set up you could assign somewhere around 12 skills on the controller? It has been a while, but it was enough for me.] -- People should just choose whichever they enjoy playing with.
  10. I always assumed Jin was supposed to be the most well-rounded, and therefor have the most classes to choose from out of all the races. -- Now that lyn has three though, I am not sure what they are thinking. --Maybe kun will get their unique class, and then another new class will be made for the gon & jin -- so it would be 4 - 3 - 3 - 3 I have no idea -- Kun really need their unique class though wjehfbejmrhbfkjehbwfjhbewrgkberjg!
  11. I wouldn't really say it "failed." It's not perfect and has it's flaws, but the combat mechanics are fairly enjoyable. End game is pretty lack luster, but the journey to cap was pretty entertaining -- For me, it was fun for a couple of months.. On-Topic, I don't really see much of a similarity between the two games, having played tera, and the B&S pserver. ;x The art directions are different, and even the combat feels very different to me. The biggest similarity I can see is elin/lyn, haha.
  12. Injecting some Kun love - - There is really just so many beautiful outfits in this game.
  13. I think he meant that if they are going to consider this an entirely new class -- Let's say this is now "Force Blade" class; then another race other than lyn should also have Force Blade as a choice. [because as it stands, Lyn now has three classes, 2 of which are exclusive to lyn.]
  14. My issue is that most people on here aren't separating sex from gender, which are two completely different things. It's too bad, but I guess it's something most people don't learn about. Oh well, as long as we all enjoy ourselves. :v
  15. Even though that would be almost impossible--It reminds me of how PSO2 Had a best customized character competition in JP and the 2nd place winner had their character transformed into a real-life 3d model. The model was created through a process called 3D printing. It looked really awesome.
