We finally have a date! Blade & Soul's second closed bets test event will start this month on August 29th and last until September 10th (KST Dates)! Like the first closed beta test event, CBT2 will take place in Korea and will only be accepting Korean residents.
So what's new in CBT2?
- Content and level raised to 37.
- The Assassin class will be available for play as will the previous 4 classes.
- The gathering and crafting systems will be available.
- Multiple new dungeons unlocked.
- New zone/area available; Grand Desert. (Map)
- Contested PvP zones will be making its debut.
The Dojo will be covering this closed beta test event for our community as it is not protected by a non-disclosure agreement, or NDA. Our coverage will include a daily livestream, direct translations and more media than you'll know what to do with! Be sure to visit our Beta Discussion forum section to chat about anything CBT2 related.
We would like to thank Huan, Yuan and Elimer for getting this information up (here) hastily for our community!

There wouldn't be any point in releasing a CBT3 when OBT is due for release in the next few months.
I agree. They will definitely allow for far more diverse character customisation, as NCsoft has done in past games (such as Aion).
Hopefully they will offer this in the CBT2.

But i'm with everyone else, I would love to see more customization, I can openly say that yeah I loved all the gameplay vids posted on youtube, but my favs where the 2-3 videos I found of people showing off the different outfits. Sadly we only saw this for females. would be nice to see A: more outfits this time around and B: outfits for males as well as females =3
