      Dojo Rules & Guidelines   09/29/16

      By using this website ("Blade & Soul Dojo"), you agree that you'll follow these rules, and understand that if we reasonably think you haven't followed these rules, we may (at our own discretion) terminate your access to the site: Navigation GeneralRules Questions & Technical Support Blade & Soul Feedback Clan Discussion & Recruitment Marketplace Guides Roleplay & Fan Fiction Mods & Tools Off-Topic Discussion Reputation System Repeat Offenders Ban Appeals Staff Contact General Rules You will not post hate speech, personal attacks or private information. You will not "name & shame" any cheaters, exploiters, hackers or any other rather unpleasant players. Please use the in-game Report and Block features instead. You will not post extremely explicit text or images such as pornography or gore. All content should be safe-for-work. Borderline posts should be hidden with spoiler tags to maintain a SFW (safe-for-work) environment. Please do not post links or images from Imgur. Imgur blocked the Dojo from hotlinking their images with no warning or negotiation offers so any posted Imgur images or avatars will be broken or appear "white". You will not post off-topic discussion or derail threads. Memes, macros and other unrelated content should be hidden with spoiler tags. You will not create posts with the intention of flame-baiting, “circlejerking” or anything else that could be considered low-quality. You will not post images containing additional data such as embedded sounds or documents. You will not ask for free in-game items, NC Coins or gold (“begging”). You will not impersonate Dojo staff, Curse staff or NCSoft staff. You will not flood or spam threads. At the current level of Dojo activity, bumps will only be allowed once every three days. You will not bump old threads that have not been posted on for at least 30 days (“necro”). This does not include guides, mods, tools or clan threads. You will not create threads with the intention of causing unrest (“baiting”). You will not discuss any private servers, cheating, account selling, real money trading (“RMT”), trust trading or related activities. This does not include mods or tools that do not break Dojo rules. False reports will result in a warning or ban. Please read the rules carefully before sending in reports. Backseat (“pocket”) moderation will be hidden to keep the forum clean. If you find a post or thread that you believe needs to be moderated, use the report function. You will not edit your post if it has been edited by a moderator for rule-breaking. You will obey moderator warnings. If you are privately messaged by a moderator for rule-breaking and you wish to contest it, you may do so in the private message but remember that moderator decisions are final. Complaints about Dojo rules, Dojo staff members or the Dojo itself on the forum will be hidden and further action may be taken against your account. If there are changes you wish to see, use the Site Feedback & Support board. Topics and posts may be edited or altered by Dojo staff members due to bad formatting. This can include things such as posts typed in capslock or posts that have content that needs to be hidden with spoiler tags. Moderators may delete or hide posts without warning if the post was not worth writing a warning for. If your post is hidden or deleted and you were not notified, it was done so because it broke a simple forum rule and required removal. Questions & Technical Support Misinformation will be hidden. Constant spreading of misinformation or lazy replies will result in a warning or ban (i.e. “search it yourself”). Blade & Soul Feedback You will not beg NCSoft staff, Curse staff, Dojo staff or Dojo members for gifts, keys, NC Coins, etc unless participating in a specific giveaway. Clan Discussion & Recruitment Forum rules #3, #4 and #9 will be loosely enforced on the Clan Discussion & Recruitment board. Do not create new clan threads over and over to advertise the same clan. Request for an old thread to be locked if you need to create a new one. Attacking other clans for their management or playstyles will not be tolerated and will be treated the same way as personal attacks. If your clan uses a language other than English, use [XX] in the beginning of your topic title (i.e. [FR] for French clans). Marketplace You will not attempt to buy, sell or trade NCoin or items from the Hongmoon Store. You will not participate in any real-money trading ("RMT") transactions, such as selling gold. You will not attempt to buy or sell premium membership. You will not participate in trust trades, such as selling services, trading cross-server, or selling items from the Hongmoon store. Guides You will not create any threads on the Guides board that could not be considered guides. Roleplay & Fan Fiction You will not roleplay in any board outside of the Roleplay & Fan Fiction board. Erotic roleplay (“ERP”) will not be tolerated and will result in a hidden post or deleted thread. Mods & Tools You will not post mods or tools that could be used to give you an advantage over other players (i.e. speedhacks). You will not post extremely explicit mods, such as nudity mods. You will not steal work created by another user. All work must be original unless you are given permission by the original creator of the work to post it on the Dojo. You will not submit mods that infringe on the copyrights of companies (i.e. Sanrio outfits, etc.). You will not submit mods that require users to bypass GameGuard, nor will you submit mods that teach users how to bypass GameGuard. Off-Topic Discussion Forum rules #3, #4, #8 and #9 will be loosely enforced on the Off-Topic Discussion board. You will not need to use spoiler tags for off-topic posts, including borderline content, memes, macros, etc. Reputation System You will not use the reputation system in a way that shows bias towards specific members. Repeat Offenders We will no longer be using the warning point system. Instead, temporary bans will be issued to repeat offenders. The decision to ban and the length of the ban will be at the moderators’ discretion. Ban Appeals If you feel you were wrongly banned or that you have changed your ways, you can email me through the Dojo’s contact system (found on my profile underneath “Contact Information”). Your appeal will be discussed by the Dojo staff members before a decision is made. Please note, creating additional accounts (“sockpuppets”) to circumvent a Dojo ban will result in a longer ban of the original account and permanent bans of the additional accounts. I'd choose the MSI if getting an SSD isn't mandatory for you atm.

Edit: Nvm the MSI has windows 8. I wouldn't get Win8 yet.

Opps. I didn't notice it had Win 8. Pay no attention to that I will prolly reformat and install Win7

I don't know much about SSD's so It's not a issue to have one or not.

So mar 2 for the MSI which is cool I have 2 friend who will add 2 to that number to

Dood, obviously the MSI is the best one the go with, first of all it's a good brand, and second of all it has the best specs.

The question here is what do YOU want, and how much money are you ready to pay?

First of all I'd like to inform you that for the same price you pay to these laptops you can get a drastically stronger desktop. But if you say, that it HAS to be portable, then of course go with the laptop.

Now a bit about laptops. You are buying new laptop, you are obviously going to play games with it and you want recent games to run smoothly on high settings. I'm going to give you a little advice.

1 and a half years ago I bought the Alienware M14X, Alienware is a very expensive brand but I did it sole for the 14 inch part. It is 14 inch which is the PERFECT size in my opinion for a laptop that is portable, because I take it with me to the university almost every day. And the laptop had an I7 quad core cpu and it had the geforce gt555m, which is a card between decent and good. but I can still run Black Ops II multiplayer on medium settings 900p 60fps (shadows low, no AA, no Vertical Sync, texture quality Extra, filtiring High) (same settings single player 40-50 fps). So I am very satisfied with a laptop that is actually portable. But now there is the Asus G46 Which is a cheaper (and it has waay better cooling) laptop. And asus is a great brand. it makes the best motherboards on the market.

Coming back to 17 inch laptops. They are big, especially if it's a gaming laptop, than they also get heavy. But I presume you took these aspects in consideration. because roughly after 4 years, you have a slow laptop that is a massive chunk of hardware. But if you want a 17 inch laptop, also take a look to the asus G75, They have IMMENSE cooling. Temprature can be a problem with laptops and gaming on it.

So yeah, at the end the choice is up to you.

(sorry for the long post, here have a potato)

Among those the MSI laptop is the best choice. It's always better to stick to a single GPU.

However, since you seem to have a budget about $1500, my recommendation would be to build yourself a desktop for $1000 and buy a decent $500 laptop. you'll get a lot more performance in games from desktop components and a cheaper laptop will be much more portable and still able to run most games respectably in their lowest settings. It's also much easier and cheaper to upgrade a desktop.

In my last thread is specified that I have very tight living space and have no room for a desktop if I tried. that's why I am turning to laptop.

What about a micro atx case and use an hdtv as your monitor so it doubles as a tv and monitor?

Update: I just ordered this, took advantage of the Black Friday deals =) Gtx 680m best mobile card to date. (Well they just released the GTX 680mx which is compatible with macs), can't get better than this for the price! http://www.xoticpc.com/product_info.php?products_id=4886{254}5173{255}5221{215}4887{161}5176{76}768{94}5184{209}3138{92}5110{187}1416{88}4882{251}4764{186}1532{243}4506{93}4825{112}656{96}1970{97}1470{104}674{98}3087{115}3019{168}1453{199}751{117}705{194}2594{120}2352{110}4758{169}1449{119}708{100}734{164}

Also since this model won't have all the MSI stickers and MSI logo on it, I will customize it further with this! http://www.decalgirl.com/skins/71522/Laptop-Skin-Ninja (And thus I am officially broke for the next few weeks, after saving up for a half year.
