Head Start for founder's pack owners will begin at 10:00am PST on January 15th, 2016, and name reservations for Disciple and Master pack owners will begin on January 11th, 2016. However, NCSOFT has stated that if the community shows enough interest they will reconsider. A petition has been created for NCSOFT to reconsider. <a name="9">Will my characters from the other regions be transferable to the Western versions?</a> No. Transferring accounts is not possible, but transferring the physical appearance of your character from other versions is possible through the profile screenshot function in Character Creation. <a name="10">Will the Western version be region blocked?</a> There are currently no plans for region blocking. <a name="11">What are the playable races?</a> Jin, Gon, Yun, Lyn. Click here for more information. <a name="12">Why did they change the name of the Kun race to Yun for the Western release?</a> In North America, the word "Kun" closely resembles a derogatory racial slur. <a name="13">What are the playable classes?</a> There are currently six confirmed playable classes for the Western versions. The "Warlock" class can be found in the KR, CN, JP and TW clients but have yet to be confirmed for the North American and European release.

Off-Topic Discussion Forum rules #3, #4, #8 and #9 will be loosely enforced on the Off-Topic Discussion board. You will not need to use spoiler tags for off-topic posts, including borderline content, memes, macros, etc. Reputation System You will not use the reputation system in a way that shows bias towards specific members. Repeat Offenders We will no longer be using the warning point system. Instead, temporary bans will be issued to repeat offenders. The decision to ban and the length of the ban will be at the moderators’ discretion. So please remove any reference to me and my software from it as I don't want my name on anything by someone who just wrote me off.

You mean, you made updates but did not publish any. So you did not provide actual "updates" by updates I mean, 
Either you don't know how to read my Q&A. You're making false accusations on me that I wrote you off.

I never once mentioned that you stopped helping people, or whatsoever. So stop making assumptions.
I mentioned your name because the reason. *was* -> because you stopped releasing updates of the tool itself.
I never said you abandoned it, i said you moved on and that you will work on it and that I don't know when you will release the future updates for it.

If you're not happy about it, please pm me and stop derailing the topic. Thanks. Further complaints? Pm me.

Miyako, i don't mean to be funny, but is this really the place to be discussing your issues with the community, is your issue with Endless? or with the community? Because it just seems like you are doing your best to make this thread your personal 'these forums are against me' thread.

 

I do appreciate you are having your issues at the moment, you aren't the only one who has issues, if you have a problem with the OP, how about sending a private message instead? some things should be discussed privately instead of continually derailing the discussion here.

Saying "moved on" and "don't know when they'll update" directly implies abandonment.

My problem is with both. During the short time I didn't post on here for August and September the forum got the idea that I had abandoned my work, which gets reinforced when threads like this when imply that I did. During that time very few people from here actually bothered to contact me through the several ways available which were posted on my thread, in my readme and in bnsark itself. No one bothered to say there was problems like crashing occasionally for me to know an in between update was needed. Furthermore when I asked for support a few months ago I wasn't given any, instead I was given ultimatums of "if you add texture replacement this week I'll donate" by people here. So now I come back on here to announce an update and read a bunch of bs about "oh  Miyako left" in my thread and see a thread implying I left so they made a tool based on mine (says so in the title) and it's getting support, don't you think that would irritate you? Especially when if anyone bothered to go through the effort of following my site, YouTube or social media like Player.Me or contact me through my old chat system or Discord, I'm even still in the Skype groups that spawned on the Dojo, they'd see I never left or abandoned my project as implied by saying "no longer updated by it's owner that moved onto a different project." and "have no idea when or if she/he will keep it up." I'm honestly considering just saying "fuck it" and open sourcing my anti-gg method in my update and editing my thread to say I won't be accepting connections to my site to download bnsark or view any of my tutorials anymore when the referrer of the link is the Dojo as why bother with this forum anymore? I'll decide this weekend with my public release of my beta. Til then I'm logging off this forum. It's gone downhill since the start of the year.

I Can't speak for everyone, as i'm not. This is the only place that i visit for information regarding the tools and mods for this game, i rely on people posting their mods here and no where else, I simply do not have the time. If i see something isn't being updated, and no longer functions here then i will assume(because of lack of time searching around the internet and registering on different services, etc) that the tool has been abandoned.

 

I'm sure others are the same(although of course i cannot verify that, being only me), and this tool picked up where you 'apparently' left off. So apparently you have an issue with me too as i thought you had left and I didn't go through the hell of searching on the multitude of other places to find your work? 

 

I'm adding to the derailment of this thread, so i'll stop now, i suggest you do the same.

After that, try re-start the tool and try patching it again. IF it still dosen't work, send me the log and the path :)

I don't say that to be rude either, you keep saying the same thing over and over again, spamming this post, we already gave an aswer to you. if you have a issue with anyone, PM.
I do not talk for everyone but i assume that peoples that come here are looking for aswers for their questions and not for drama.

Not everyone is following you on your own website or social media, so you need to understand some of them will assume that you're gone. But no need to make a big buisiness of yours, you shouldnt be mad at anyone for that, thats just normal. The only good solution to it, is to say that you're not gone, and only once, thats it! too bad for those who are not into it enought to read that post, let them go. No need to bring your problems on someone else post.

Also, the fact that some person that was using your tool wasent informing you about the lags or bugs is normal. You need to try your tool by your self and see where are the problems the majority of time.

Would you be kind enough to paste me the paths inside your bns folder to the config.dat, xml.dat (usually same folder as config.dat) 
and Client.exe for the game. And if possible your NCSoft launcher path and it's files.

So I could make a quick fix for it :)
(I made the option to set custom paths in the settings so it won't do all this all over again and saves the correct path)

now I cant login with launcher, it stops downloading xml.dat and loading.pkg halfway, can any1 upload it somewhere?  It worked for some reason that I dont know

It's the config.dat becomes invalid after the update due to some changes.
So i'm making an automatic patcher for the config.dat for every update. 

Won't be having those errors again anytime soon <3

Bump: I've done all the things, need a couple tests to run then releasing update.

I also tried seeing if making a folder for all the upk files and placing them in it would change anything, and it didn't.

Simply placing all of the upk files in a mods folder I created in the CookedPC directory (the default one, not the one BnS Buddy creates) makes the voice pack work just fine, so I was wondering if maybe the mod manager just doesn't work with voice packs somehow or I'm not doing something correctly here.

Place the folder containing the upk's inside the ConfigPC_Mod
Then wait for tool to calculate how many files there are.
Takes time depeding on your ram/processing power and if the count is high.

First of all, I have to say that I am so fortunate to have this tool available.

Second of all, I found a small problem with it.

 

Though BnS Buddy is (technically) 32 and 64 bit compatible, it relies on the registry value only used in the 64 bit BnS install. Those using a 32 bit computer (and a 32 bit BnS install) are unable to use the program (even though it appears to load up just fine), as it is unable to find the registry value (BnS Buddy only checks for the registry value used by the 64 bit BnS install).

 

I planned to code in this compatibility and submit a pull request this weekend (because that is when I have access to the machine I will use to test). As long as the config.dat issue is fixed by then (I will be testing to make sure the alternative registry value works to completely solve the issue), I will still be able to add in an alternative check for the 32 bit registry values (unless you decide to fix it yourself).

That'd probably be because it's based on my code I open sourced months ago which at the time used the Wow6432Node keys to find BnS.

Sorry guys! 

Been inactive for the last 2 days...
I had my bday the 26th, the hospital for my grandfather the 27th and celebration of my bday with my other relatives.

I will add the 32-bit compatibility in this version too since there is a lot of requests atm and lots of errors.
I did not added the 32-bit as I did not found the path for the registry key for it on a 32-bit system.
Team Zer0 has just told me today the path for it. So that will go all too well :)

Hope your Grandad is ok, did he have some cake? :)

 

It'll be ready when it's ready, I just switched the missus over to using BnSBuddy(she's the one with the long email address), her PC is a bit slower then mine so the quick account switch was really helpful. Anything to make my life easier and more peaceful is always a good thing, haha!!
